It's the reciprocated part that's the problem here. From Jin Bu Yeon's POV, she's only known Seo Yul for about…
She can't hug a friend to comfort him? This isn't a typical sageuk right? The fantasy freedom can have its way as needed, don't you think?
Because JBY clearly shows different emotions to Yul and Jang Uk. So, this hug in no way demeans her feelings towards jang uk. Like as viewers we can clearly differentiate that the hug to jang uk in last episode was more to comfort him as his wife because he clearly was having a hard time and even allowed him to take advantage of her body to kiss her (we dont know how far that went yet) when he was drunk af. This is literally the glaring evidence of how much she loves jang uk. Do you really think JBY/Naksu would have allowed a drunk seo yul to kiss her? Then you have your answer to your question
As for the hug with Yul, it's clear that he hugged her first and she is just probably reciprocating because he was clearly emotional there. If the audience are able to differentiate this clearly, I think it's a non-issue.
This comment on Christmas Eve says a lot about you more than about MDL.
That's because you being a miserable troll don't represent the majority. It's in top already because majority already like it. Now keep crying ππ
The hug is okay in my opinion. Why? Because yeong is clearly reciprocating the hug. Also we don't know the context behind the stills yet. So don't understand people slaughtering yul here even if he hugged her after knowing it was naksu. As long it's reciprocated mutually, I don't see a problem because the director has made it super clear regarding yeong's feelings towards jang uk already
You don't care about MDL yet take it serious enough to come to the same MDL & vent your frustration π P.S:…
Don't make it so obvious that you are a troll. The series is ongoing and well on its way to the double figures. It's so obvious you just can't stomach the success it achieved because you are part of that miserable bunch that were eagerly waiting for the series to fail because their fav wasn't casted. Being miserable on the internet doesn't make you cool. lol
This being in MDL top 20 in history is so laughable. Then again I never took MDL seriously. Cringe fest
You don't care about MDL yet take it serious enough to come to the same MDL & vent your frustration π
P.S: The series and part 2 specifically is already a smashing hit both in korea and worldwide whether you like it or not. So, stay pressed. Nobody cares :)
The pre release clip is so cute. Say all you want about her memories not coming back, I am absolutely devouring this innocent married couple trope especially naksu without all that baggage. I am a sucker for this kinda sweet cheesiness ngl . Wish the drama ends right here and we all assume they lived happily ever after π
ok plotwise I don't think they can finish tying up all of the storylines in 6 episodes. I have a feeling season…
Pretty sure LJW won't sign as he is already exhausted filming this for over 2 years. He mentioned it multiple times that this character is physically demanding and hence it wouldn't make sense for a new season with other remaining cast like naksu/gyj. So another season is definitely out of question unless they can do something like a sequel/prequel with a completely new set of casts. I would love it.
There will be recency bias for this question unfortunately. However this question shouldn't not valid for following reasons imo
* It's not 2 seasons. It's a single season released as 2 parts. So the story is just continued * The 2 parts aren't really comparable. The first part focused more on building characters, develop plots and had 20 episodes. So it took it's own time to develop and was in fact slow. There wasn't much romantic skinship as well because of this. However, part 2 is only 10 episodes and already on a fully developed plot and characters. So the romance is pretty fast paced. More skinship as it's naksu in her true face/form. So more people tend to like it more than first. But ideally this is all part of a single drama as a whole. So this question is not valid but I am sure this will be asked a lot once the part 2 ends π
LJW and GYJ full interview thread for anyone looking for. Lots of interesting tidbits here and looks like GYJ…
It's kind of sad that some of them continue to throw shade on her with contempt just coz she replaced someone when she has been nothing but professional throughout and did everything she can to fill the shoes of the veteran actor she replaced. I am sure even JSM would be appreciating her if she was watching AoS2. Fortunately, the number of trolls has reduced drastically after seeing the insane chemistry in the 4 released episodes. Also props to LJW for being the nicest costar ever that he continues to be super supportive of her as this is still her maiden venture as a proper lead. She is really fortunate to have him as her first lead man π
There is so much to unveil. So much story left. 6 episodes seem so less. Plus how to move on from Daeho! π
Pretty sure there will be some rushed feeling in the end but I don't care at all as long as they give a happy ending because we had our fair share of dragging in the first part anyway. So rushing will be a compensation in a way
LJW and GYJ full interview thread for anyone looking for. Lots of interesting tidbits here and looks like GYJ really did her homework. At some point she even admits she saw Part 1 so many times. Thorough Professional π https://twitter.com/aster__nine/status/1606327118110957570
GYJ even says she and LJW together practiced the script for other roles too. Like LJW read the lines of Kim Doju for her and GYJ read the lines of Seo yul and CP for LJW. They really seem to have bonded so well over the script reading which GYJ took the initiative to contact LJW first coz she really wanted to do well. So much dedication and effort. That's the reason we are seeing the explosive chemistry on screen. The coolest actor duo ever in my book.

We can only hope it was not the climax π₯²
