netflix doesn't care about the artistic integrity of the series. its only goal is to maximize views and instigate…
Right, that makes sense. There has been a lot of subtle westernizing already ever since Netflix took off in Korea like for example with respect to nudity as there is no censorship on the OTT platforms (Squid games, money heist, somebody, a model family etc to name a few). Like you said, it feels like they keep them just so they can maximize the viewership. Not that I complain it as a bad thing since it's art, but I do feel that it kinda breaks the essence of what Kdramas normally meant for the people. Maybe the times are changing, and we have to adapt :)
This kind of storyline has been done in kdramas before. It’s not a Netflix thing.
Like I said I only hoped I was wrong about this as it was only based on the comments below. I got a feeling from the comments that infidelity/cheating is showcased as humor in this. I haven't seen that trope done in Kdramas. They really have done plenty of infidelity tropes but cannot remember any drama that passed it off as just part of humour. However, in western dramas, cheating/infidelity is pretty much a casual thing. Hence the insinuation
I hope I am wrong about this but purely from the comments below it looks like, yet another Netflix attempt at westernizing a kdrama. I don't know why they do this but maybe this is the future probably coz they see an audience warming up to it in korea & worldwide ? (I personally hate it though). We never know.
What i love about ljw and gyj. They don't care about shippers or haters.. They know they are comfortable with…
I think it's not just them. I guess they all are pretty close. I mean seungho, insoo, minhyun, arin, gyj . Arin had once posted that it was younjung who suggested weak hero to her. So i am getting a feeling that they are all very close with each other than we think.
Totally love how the lead actors have been very generous with the fan service this time. Definitely helps promote…
Btw not a fan of shipping leads irl coz I think it's cringey, but I am extremely happy with the way they are doing fan service here because they are literally the hot topic right now in SNS everywhere. So, nothing wrong in using the hype to promote themselves as much as possible. If you noticed, GYJ has been gaining followers like crazy in the last couple of weeks. Like both their insta comment section is basically exploding ever since they posted couple pictures 😂
yeah definitely... she is soft personality and so cute 🥰
she is indeed. But it wouldn't have been possible for me to find out that she had this side of her if not for the behind-the-scenes footage and the recent interviews. So we cannot thank AoS enough for bringing this side out of her xD
In the last scene, it was very sweet, but suddenly I noticed that Jang Uk looked up like he noticed something…
I have a wild theory that probably he saw the blue mark in her eyes and hence kissed her thinking it's his naksu as he was drunk at that point (acc to LJW/GYJ interview)... because at the naksu memorial, JBY had that blue mark on her eyes when she regained a part of her memory back.
Totally love how the lead actors have been very generous with the fan service this time. Definitely helps promote themselves better. Make hay while the sun shines indeed xD
Also do you guys also notice how GYJ has improved to express herself gradually in interviews? Like if you see the first interview that dropped for AoS, she was more of a listener and didn't speak much at all unless asked (also remember how flustered and nervous she was in Blue Dragon Film Awards red carpet recently which was her first award function if am not wrong😂). But in all the recent interviews I get a feeling that she is able to express herself more and is able to be herself freely. Like we could see the playful, goofy side of her. Guess the AoS cast definitely helped overcome her introvertedness a lot as they all seem to be really close. I think that's amazing.
Regarding seo yul, I am guessing soi would have told him the truth about jinmu controlling naksu to do the massacre and hence he will try to confront jin mu. Maybe that’s what the fight is all about in preview coz he says this time he has to do something.
It would be much easier for him to just inform jang uk about everything though. Just saying 🤣
I find it so funny when the trolls try to teach hong sisters reg how the plot should unravel especially the ones crying nonstop about how buyeon character was discarded off . Man, hong sisters literally created this masterpiece with all the soul switching concept and you guys trynna teach them that they are wrong? Like really? 😂
Yul is a pure heart boy. He loves Naksu, but he knows well Naksu doesn't belong to him. Nothing wrong with loving…
Ofcourse, However cannot help but feel for him. Like his character is as such that never stood a chance whatsoever on the romantic front. Like his first love whom he loved so dearly left him abruptly. Years later when he has a chance again, she falls for someone else and breaks up again. Now for the third time, his heart's gonna break. Just pitying the kind of character it ended up. Absolutely adore Seo Yul character though.
