Thought the new wife plot will immediately have a lot of angst but what a twist they gave. Yuan Ying for the win. She is so cool

The plot is super refreshing till now especially with the overwhelming sisterhood in a period drama unlike the usual tiresome scheming subplots.

That’s because she had already softened up in season 1 due to jang uk(just not in her own body) and now we see it via her own body.

GYJ is absolutely stunning in the new poster. Damn, I seriously cannot wait for this.

Absolutely loving it but with 40 episodes and the leads have started falling for each other already by 8th episode means we are in for a lot of angst later :/

I was surprised when I read Kim Min Jae decided to join. I was under the assumption that he was already big enough to not opt for supporting roles again. Either they did a real good job to convince him with the role or he is just a very nice, humble person to do this.

Love the main leads here but even more interested in Yin Qi and Guan Jing plot. Very much looking forward to see how their relationship will progress & evolve over the time.

I must say the actor playing joong do is so bloody good. I instantly crack up every scene he is in

FL isnt any good either and in fact even worse when she got all physical in their very first meeting.

I just have one advice and that is to watch this once all the episodes have aired so that you can either fast forward or simply skip all those blatant 'red flag' moments. I also think they don't have a good storyline to keep this up to 16 episodes either. Hence you see all this draggy obsessive, creepy SML plot getting way more screen time than you normally expect.

You missed my point. I don't even care about the endgame actually. The toxicity of his character shouldn't be veiled just coz he is cute is all I am saying ;)

The problem is his character trait. It's weird you don't see a problem with it tbh.

Along with incessant stalking, the manhandling SML does by grabbing her hands multiple times lol. It's blatant harassment but you can't complain much because the FL doesn't seem to set clear boundaries with him either despite him trespassing her personal space everytime. I think it's better for us folks to binge watch this once it ends so that we can skip these 2000ish scenes altogether.

And as for those who see no problem with SML or find him 'cute' .... The problem is his character trait not his love. Stalking, manhandling, intruding her personal space etc. He can have his unrequited love for her without any of these and no one would have complained here. The toxic traits exhibited is being called out rightly so.

Indeed, I understand the overprotective brother part but it also gives off the 'rich looking down on a poor ' vibe and that really is off putting for me because he has already seen enough to conclude xiong fei is a good person
