I hope I am wrong about this but kind of think that yoon kyeo re has terminal illness and that's what they are trying to foreshadow via his dog. It will be tragic af if true :(
I want to believe that Big mouse is a legend created by ML,FL, FIL and his friend. It would be such a cool reveal in the end if they were all in this together and as a family have been fooling literally everyone including us 😂
Not sure about others but today's episode felt a bit vague and rushed at certain places for me (guess we will feel the rush even more in the next 4). So I agree with those who have problems with the pacing of the plot. So many unnecessary drag subplots at this stage when only 4 episodes left is a bit tiring. The intensity dip is clearly felt. The Jang Kang return tho 🔥
omg, I was proved wrong and I am actually effing happy I was proved wrong. Last episode I did post a comment worrying about how it could end up draggy (I was genuinely worried though considering how good the show has been and how it has been grossly underrated) but nah, the director amazes us with another masterclass. what a heartwarming, cute episode it was. Ma dong and Mi young getting their happy ending, wedding and even a date made me so bloody happy. Hatsoff to the director for making us feel the warmth even if they are ghosts.
I cannot wait for Ah Reum's back story and her happy ending now.
How does bai chou fei character progresses in the novel? He becomes the bad guy in that later? I was just wondering if the rejection by lei chun would push him further into the abyss and eventually betray su meng zhen or even kill? Any novel reader can spoil it for me how his character arc goes there?
I think it's absolutely fair for anyone that has seen the original to have some reservation especially with ML because personally for me, I dont think he is carrying that charm which seung ho possesses that worked so well in the original (make no mistake, the ML has been doing a good job here). However if you just forget that the original version exists, this has been a pretty good watch till now.
Not complaining at all but felt like this could have ended at 12 episodes and would have been a proper masterpiece already. I say this because I feel that a show that was so brilliantly written and executed till now shouldn't end up making the viewers feel some drag(I vaguely felt that in today's episode tbh) just so they could give 16 episodes. Nevertheless has been by comfort drama by a mile ❤️
I see season 2 on iQIYI. Do I need to watch the first season to catch on to the plot or can I just watch the second…
I don't think it's necessary. I haven't seen season 1 as well and started this. Haven't found any significant plot carried forward or references to season 1 till now. So I suppose it should be okay.
Don't we all love it when a FL is frigging badass? I cannot stress enough how much I loved the way Xu Jie character is written and portrayed. Jiang Shuying literally nailed it. I am a fan
Nah, This ain't it. The abrupt cuts and editing is proper infuriating. Like for a moment she is pissed off at ML and in the next scene everything is sorted. Lol, what even? I guess their attempt to fit everything into 14 episodes resulted in this mess (I wonder why 14 even?).
Looking at the pattern from episode 1, I think it won't get any better too. You will probably see the storyline go at 3x speed with little explanations or reasoning behind. I will still watch it but I think just for the heck of it. It's definitely looking like a drama that was made in 2010s and released now xD
Omfg , The bowling scene today got me howling. I am so annoyed that this show is not talked about enough. The beautiful cast deserves all the appreciation and the director for brilliantly blending the humour, romance and supernatural stuff all together . I hope this goes to netflix somehow for more INTL reach. The cast including the ghosts are phenomenal
