it's a fl centric drama.and XZ & YY will never act in a fl centric drama
Right? In many countries like Korea, it doesn't matter if an actor is popular, they can play a villain or second lead in a drama with even actors who are less popular than them as leads. They care about the characters they act as opposed to position.
This is the reason we keep seeing the same few actors in chinese dramas that sometimes it reduces the enjoyment. Like why do we have to see zhao lusi in 4 dramas in one year?? or xu kai in 6 dramas in one year really? The lack of diversity is astounding. I'm sure there is many actors in china since they have the biggest population but they don't get a chance. if they do, its cheap productions & weak scripts coz thats the only option.
Also the ridiculousness of which actor's name is put first on cast announcement and poster. Like who cares?? When I'm watching a drama i only care abt who acted the best or which character I like most. The names arrangement should be an indictor of which actor is acting a more relevant role in the drama not which actor is more popular or has more resources.
I want better for c-ent but it won't grow much with such things.
I just think its wierd & disrespectful to comment on someone's weight because that is body shaming. Luo Yunxi…
No one said they were bashing him. Its just that u might think your concern is in good faith but the one on the receiving end will not see it as that & might make them stress that they're not healthy or abnormal etc. The solution is simple. Just leave commenting on people's bodies. Just coz they are celebrities & might not see these comments doesn't excuse it

As someone who struggled with eating disorder and people would make such comments on my weight all the time, I would find it annoying and wanted even off myself coz of it coz its sensitive. Luckily luo yunxi will never see these kinds of comments but people who are the same weight as him in the comments will see. But this is not the first time I see him being skinny shamed though.
This is as bad as telling a fat person to lose weight constantly. U may not see it as a big deal but people who are always skinny shamed know how hurtful to be told to add on weight is. The solution is to stop commenting on people's bodies and the concern can feel suffocating. There's no person who enjoys being told to put on weight or lose weight.
Body shaming has been made normal and that's why people feel entitled to speak on people's bodies with no regard to how people u say it to feel.
I know Luo Yun Xi puts in 110% in his roles particularly for xianxia/wuxia dramas. I just wished he put on some…
I just think its wierd & disrespectful to comment on someone's weight because that is body shaming. Luo Yunxi has been like that as long as I've known him. Its just normal weight for him and tht's okay. Or even if he had issues with it, its none of our business to wish which kind of weight he should have.
