The day they announced this casting, I remember complaining a lot because the cast doesn’t match the characters…
Same, but my main issue is with Lee Min Ho. He is not an ugly actor of course, but Korea has way better looking actors considering the character is described as THE most handsome guy ever seen. He doesn't have the sharp features or the muscular physique one would expect for this character. But he is the biggest name in the cast and was probably casted for that reason.
I started watching this because I read the webtoon. Watched two episodes so far. I'm not fully convinced with Ahn Hyo Seop playing the ML though. He doesn't look like the character and he also has a weird intonation like he is doing a historical drama. I get that from webtoon to live-action of course the actors won't always look exactly the same, but when I pictured TaeMu, I had someone like Lee Soo Hyuk in mind. But oh well, I'm giving this a chance.
So far I really love Sejeong as Hari, and I always enjoy watching Lee Deok Hwa. I love every scene with the grandpa as I did when reading the webtoon. The actor playing the secretary is the one that looks the most similar to the webtoon character visually, but I think he is lacking the cuteness and innocence the character has, at least for now. Maybe he will be more like that in upcoming episodes.
Disney Plus, but for now it's only available in 10 Asia-Pacific regions. Once the drama ends, it will be available in Europe, South America, India and US. Sadly, the rest of the world will have to wait for 2 weekly episodes, just like the Asian regions.
How can someone who cannot act be cast as the main lead?? Kang Daniel has not emotions other than not interested…
He has shown annoyance, jealousy, happiness, playfulness, sadness and disappointment. Not everyone has strong or exaggerated emotions though. He didn't show the "deer caught in headlights" expression that is very common with a lot of lead actors, and that's something to commend actually.
Theory timeeeeeeeeeeee : DAE IL WON’T DIE ….If you guys observed there’s a photograph of Dae ll swimming…
Kang Daniel and Kim Sangho filmed for the last episode. A guest actor took photos with both of them, so neither of them is going to die. The rest of you theory could happen though, or the photo could be a hint of how he is going to die. Just because people know how to swim doesn't mean they can't drown when they are trapped inside a car at the bottom of a river. But I do hope you are right, and the photo is a hint that he is going to swim his way out. Eunkang mentioning hope at the end, does give me some hope. 😭 I would hate this screenwriter until the ends of times if she killed off Daeil.
I'm going to throw a different theory about who might die at the end...
It's clear Seunghyun's dad is not happy to be part of this corrupt club with former KNPU alumnus, politicians and the creepy CEO. He must have done a lot of bad things but he does care about his son. So my theory is that Seunghyun's dad is the one that is going to die. Since he was a KNPU student, it's possible he would have a wake held at the school campus. When Eunkang says someone didn't graduate with them, she could be referring to Tak or Seunghyun leaving the academy.
Seunghyun's dad dying would be the closest to a redemption he could have. Maybe he might die trying to help and protect his son. OR, after revealing everything the club and the CEO did, he might kill himself out of shame.
Was so looking forward after the ending of episode 10, think it went dark and exciting...Then episode 11 is such…
Seunghyun said that because he honestly believed his dad would see Tak with good eyes once he actually met him and talked with him. He clearly thinks very high of his dad, which is why the upcoming conflict and revelation of the past incident is going to be crushing for his character.
I agree there are some cliches and dumb moments, but the drama is overall enjoyable imo. Since you have watched until episode 12, might as well just watch the last 4 episodes which are going to be darker.
I can't believe Disney+ is posting less than 2 minute behind video now for 2 episodes...It's a shame there isn't…
D+ got this amazing young cast that have such great chemistry, and they did nothing with them for extra content to attract more viewers. They made KD and CSB have a full day of interviews they have been spoon feeding us every 1-2 weeks and that's it, and with no subtitles of course. I'm still trying to understand how they think this approach will help them compete with Netflix.
I really couldn't convince myself on seeing screen time of Yoona! , Like really? She is one of main character…
By now I think we can all tell, she is the second lead only because of her previous works. I'm still hoping we will see more of her in what's left of the drama though.
The second half of this drama is clearly going to be much darker. The ending of episode 10 gave me the creeps, but I am looking forward to the new characters and what they will bring to the story and the connection with the past incident.
That said, I really want to like episode 10 because it had some good parts, but the way they went about this whole case was very irresponsible and made me grab my head like wtf are they doing?! Especially Eunkang.
The writer not only threw all logic out the window with this one, but within the episode there was a huge inconsistence between what their teacher told them to do when their started their field practices, and how the teachers ended up praising them for doing the exact opposite and putting each other at danger.
ep 8 ending.Isn't a bit too early for a kdrama. I hope nothing bad happens,I feel like they will break up and…
Something bad is definitely going to happen with Tak. If it turns out that Seunghyun's dad really did something bad, I think his disappointment and the hurt is going to be so big, he might push Eunkang away for a while.

The preview looks really exciting and I'm looking forward to seeing more of Hanna.
