I really can't accept Xie Wei's character. I know many here won't like this comment probably because he gives that dark bad boy vibe and aura. But he is toxic and all he does is scold JXN whenever she does something good or make smart moves. It's like he can do anything but when she does it, it's a problem. Isn't typical male toxic masculinity? He repeatedly told her not to involve in YLs matter but what he doesn't understand is that it's her personal choice to involve herself or not even at the cost of her safety. YL was someone who was always there for here when she was all alone. Who is he to reprimand her. He wanted women to learn politics and he even mentioned how empress took reign when they were attacked in past. But all he does is talk. And JXN makes use of her brain and do something good, he just scold her and reprimand in a manner that parents do to their kids...In real life, who will be able to accept a character like XW as husband/bf who always questions her motives and keeps monitoring her moves?? Even between couples, there should be some amount of personal space.

Interesting that there is someone else out there want them to be together. While posting my comment I thought I would be criticized for making such a comment since I want FL and Second ML to be end up together. Because everyone want ML and FL to be end game. But I think story of Kunning palace is about Jiang Xue Ning and she is the main character. I always disliked how always second ML's have to make sacrifices inspite of being them good. So for a change, I want them to be end up together.

I want Ning Er with Zhang Zhe. Although ML and Ning makes a good pair, she looks very differently towards ZZ. I think he is the only one she loved in her previous life. Because when she took her own life, all she wanted was to save him. Because according to her , inspite of doing all those evil things and make using people for her own selfishness she only felt guilty towards him. And she exchanged her life to save him. Even Xie Wei was stunned at her demand. And she clearly told Xie Wei that she has no guilty conscience towards Xie Wei or Yan Lin. So her love was ZZ. So I want her to end up with him for a change. Although many viewers may disagree with my reasoning, I think it will be quite interesting to watch how their relationship evolve in future episodes.

The way Qin She ye pursue Yu You's is giving me headache.

Although ZLJ is the ML, I want her to be end up with Wang Xing Yue's character because in her previous lifetime, before taking her own life, her only request was to save him and she clearly told ML that her only regret in that life time regarding Zhang He inspite of doing so many evil things. She already moved past Yan Lin and XW and whatever happened to them, they deserve it(according to her). So Zhang He must be that much good to her. Since he is not introduced in the drama, let's wait and watch what will happen in this life time.

I liked second ML's acting(Wang Xing Zue) in 'scent of time' which has a similar plot like this. FL going back and changing destiny. So I really want him to be second ML and more screen time. 3rd ML's acting doesn't work on me. He can't match up with the acting skills of experienced actress like Bai Lu.. Bai Lu is probably one of the best actress of current generation(post 90 born) in China. She can pull off all kind of roles without difficulty. I have been a fan of her acting since Arsenal military academy.

Yes, he got beaten up most of times but he was always there atleast. Even when he was not skilled enough,He tried to oppose whoever tried to misbehave with his mistress. That's what matters more to me. My problem with the Lord is that he tried to remove BG from her life. How he used a pitty excuse for her jealousy. He could atleast investigate why he had to kill his master and how his boss lady got killed because of her own plot backfired. He has so many resources at his disposal to enquire all those things. He could be atleast happy that someone else is there to protect him if not him. And he always try to underestimate her capabilities. He actually doesn't trust her at all. He wants to control her.So thats why I don't like him with her. FL should be fine on her own.

I agree with your POV but One thing I would like to point out is that FL's dream to live a peaceful life. Do you think, that would be possible with Lord Of Zhong Garden. He never was there when she really needed him(cliff scene) because of his position in the society. Then there is also the case of second marriage of her's if she actually weds him. And about the Bodyguard and FL, am neutral at this point. But he was always there when he needed her. Be it physically or mentally. And she could also live a peaceful normal life with him if they leave Huangcheng. They have a special bond too. So I want him to be with her always even if they don't end up as a couple. A lot of dramas are releasing these days but none got in to my radar. I can only watch if it really worth immersing myself in to it.

One thing I liked about "you are my hero" is the way leads relationship is portrayed healthy. I don't know about date with future as I haven't watched it. How is this one?
