Because they stretched out something that should have max 6-8 episodes into 12. There is literally almost nothing happening to push plot forward.

For me it was the other way - mystry part was too obvious to me so I didn't feel like watching it and feel more drawn to the romance part.

First and Khao are absolutely adorable together in this series and should become the best new ship of GMMTV of this year.
I will basically riot if they will not get another series together.

... My main problem with this show is Nhai - I just don't understand what Ai see in him. He is sloppy, annoying, and can't do anything by himself.
He is like a mix of 6 year old and a moody teen.
Should I find it cute?
Actor is hot but the character he play lacks any kind of charm if you ask me.

Really nice surprise. Not sure why its ranked 7.6 when worse flops are around 8.0 but nothing is going to surprise me on MDL anymore.
As for Big Dragon it is very big step up for Star Hunter Entertainment when it comes to quality.
I think they get heavily inspired with KP aesthetic for sure. But since it's big step up in terms of quality I am willing to forgive them.
As far as story go - its an adaptation of a novel that is 80% about s*x so not sure why people expect some groundbreaking story.
This series is straightforwardly telling its story without pretending to be something that it isn't.

It would not help that much, stories like this relies very much on actors abilities to convey emotions. It not something newbies can do.

i just changed speed to 1.5x - it was only way for me to finish it...

True hurdle is still ahead of you, that all i can say.

This series is pure aesthetic nothing more
- Too many commercials (not integrated well in plot) that just distracted you.
- Puen and Taley are boring characters who traveled into another universe just to live their boring lives. While Sea and Jimmy are not seasoned enough actors to create characters that viewers could care about. Add to this their mediocre chemistry.
- Plot is spread so thin that having 9 -10 ep. would be much matter - because 12 is overkill I was bored.
- Using Nanon and Ohm for hype.

Finished and never going back to rewatch it's just not worth it - but might finish reading novel.

Ok, I liked it much more than I anticipated.
Script is storytelling is really good so far. Ep. 1 might seems a bit confusing since we are instructed so many characters in a short period of time but after you get them down you can clearly see where the plot is going and enjoy it.
As for now I see 3 main (BL) couples and one straight that have more narrative role.
Fahlanruk sticks up pretty much from the typical BL love mold - so some people will definitely don't like it.
We don't have typical shy saint - like virginal uke but Sher who don't mind one-night stands with strangers. While Fahlanruk is also a player himself who likes sleeping around. They both don't share typical BL sex=Love, or sex can only happen after being in a relationship philosophy which will be probably shocking to some watchers.
They also both have their own relationships and friends
- Fahlanruk with Tle - they obviously sleep with each other but are not officially dating.
- Sher with Prince - they are obviously just friends but let people think there might be a couple for some reason.

So we have:
- Sher and Fahlanruk who start from one-time stand and evolve into friends with benefit.
- Ping and Tap (Fahlanruk friends) who are good friends, but one side harbors one-sided love toward the other.
- Prince and Gear who obviously have feelings for each other and flirt all the time while not yet trying to move toward the relationship.

In this way we have interesting drama about the relationship progress of 3 vastly different couples with different love philosophies and starting lines.

But when I like storyline - acting is just painful... I know they are newbies but+18 scenes are just stiff, you can just see actors are not into it. While Sher 6 o'clock shadow change shade with every scene.

Don't judge on screen chemistry with one photo... they look good. Visually at least.
For rest we need to wait and see

I read many theories - but no one know for sure. I even saw some Thai fan mention that casting for next year Gmmtv dramsa already begin so they might pull out Mike because they want to cast him with someone else next year and promote it.
But who know... there might be something we don't know about...

Might not be BL. I think midnight hotel, wrap effect or 10 years ticket from what i know.

This event is Kris stage play so it don't involve sponsors. But you are right only time will tell how much this episode will affect them.

Not so sure - if they were already at the late workshop stage they might have already booked locations and staff, this means rather than rescheduling everything, losing money and going back to the workshop stage they will just go as planned as Gawin will have workshops in between.

Yup it all happened in 24h so people started to wonder if there is connection.

Really suck for Kris just in 2 days he have opening of his big stage play and now everyone will ask about drama and not about his work...

No need to apologize i really get what you want to say i had the same thought process but in the end decided to sum it to just "shy"
It also one of points why i think it will really work with Gawin, Gawin is more forward and easy going - considering plot Kris acting as confused time traveler who is not fully accepting butterfly effect while Gawin treat him as his long time lover.
I can easily picture their dynamic.
