My interpretation of the future is Ye Haiting and Tang Yi Xun got their happy ending Since they know the names Yu Nian and Yu Zhihong after settling, they search for them and find Yu Nian and her grandmother, and learn about the real Yu Zhihong being in jail. Then they keep her with them as the grandma dies, but this time they are not their parent, rather her uncle and aunt, so on her phone no one is saved as dad. As for Sheng Cheng, I have 2 interpretations 1 he is the son of shen dinghao (the classmate ) and his lover (of which he was talking about in last ep to ye haiting or anyone else) but she do not want him or dies, so he have the baby, thats why shen cheng was with his father in america (bcz we all know unless the mother is not poor she does not give up on her child and ye haiting would never let shen cheng go away if it was her biological child ). since the shen family sees ye haiting as their family they manages to marry them and she hence cares for the baby. And I first felt that he was adopted, but if he was, he would be adopted by Ye Haiting, so he would live with her in China and not in America, as she adopted him, so it has to be that Shen Cheng is biologically related to the father and has no biological relation with Ye Haiting. And I can say this because he was alive. 2 he is the postman (I believe the 1st more). He is cursed to make sacrifices.

I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but it's seriously infuriating to watch the FL obsess over ML as if he’s her whole existence. It’s pathetic how much she’s putting into him, acting like she’s the only one making any effort. Like, get a grip!
ML's mother was spot on from the get-go. What were they pretending? This wasn’t friendship; it was a ridiculous farce! FL walks around claiming she's just a friend when in reality, she's practically his girlfriend, but too afraid to admit it. It's cringe-worthy to see someone so desperate trying to disguise their obvious feelings. Honestly, just own it already! I AM HIS FRIEND, BUT SHE LIKES HIM(OKAY) AND IS PRACTICALLY DATING HIM IN THE NAME OF FRIENDSHIP.

TO BE HONEST, I come from an average, strict asian family, and judging from the timeline, the actions of the mother, for me at least, were okay, like her stopping qq from talking to boys, staying out late in dark and all AND yes i do admit some of her actions were toxic but the timeline of the story is 2007 in that time all of the culture beliefs tradions were the priority and it was the time of change. In my country, during this period, women at the age of 20 or after finishing high school were married off, so I know a bit of the background.
One thing I want to justify is the mother's slap to BY. I know many will not agree, but the baby was due to the consent of both sides, and it was her fault it too, so the slap was genuine.
And the reverse was Jinruis' fault too, which was dismissed by the family, and that was when her mother was wrong and very wrong. and she should have seeked for justice(and for some reason i belive she seeked it but she didnt have a back which will support her in the family and community where women were considered nothing )
Why on earth the rating is so low?!? The pace, plot, acting and visuals are just mind blowing 🤯
the reason is how it aired like one episode a week (okay no worries) then there is 3 weeks with no episode common man with these delays it was frustrating i even forgot what the plot wwas ongoing i watched it bcz i had startted it

If she lives, the whole point of realism and terminal illness will be no less than a joke.
