I liked the low key romance, but I still think they kept it a little too low!! I wish they were more explicit in defining their relationship; I'm not even sure I would be able to point out when exactly they got together?! xD
I liked Zhang Xincheng in this, but it's true he could have been better..certain scenes he absolutely nailed, while other times he was a bit underwhelming. I did wonder before if it might have been because he was trying to play Pei Zhi as a sort of cold/aloof genius, but didn't quite succeed 🤔

Not really though..SPZ wasn't really aware of where CPZ was, in fact when Zhaoxi talked to him about that, it's when he started to waver...his behavior wasn't calculating and manipulative like CPZ
Anyways, this was a pretty cool show, still somewhat flawed, but the last episode was a bit disappointing in the way it explained the story..it was 30 minutes of narration, that's too much, not the best storytelling lol!!
I can't believe I was once again fooled by that "this is all fake, it was just a book" ending!!! ðŸ˜But at least in this case they kept for last a scene from the actual story of the drama, not one from the last minute explanation to pretend it was just a made up story 😅
I'm on ep 8 now and I did not expect the show to focus so much on the kids side...I've started this for Zhang Xincheng so I'm a tad disappointed... But having said that, this is actually pretty good!! Sometimes there is too much focus on math for my taste lol, but it's still a nice watch!
