To add, the way they killed so many characters in the end was meh...especially the villains...I felt the ending to be underwhelming, and they still left some loose threads there. The romance had a solid conclusion imo, so that helps!

The drama could have been better though, the writing was inconsistent, especially in the second half; personally I liked the first story arc more, the war related one was something I wasn't expecting and didn't enjoy that much. But I liked the FL development throughout the drama, so I prefer her in the latter episodes.
Zhang Xincheng did not disappoint me yet again!! I've been watching and enjoying all his shows recently and he always delivers!! 😂❤️
Before I watch this, can I ask, she doesn't get revenge by doing anything to the child right?

Acting was great throughout, so that was a plus! I didn't know what to expect before starting it, but in the end I was satisfied.
Of course it had its flaws, the pace was too slow at times, and some developments anticlimactic, but this was the vibe of the drama, after all ~ Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's still a good watch imo 😊
The first couple of minutes looked ridiculous tbh.. Then they showed those past scenes and made sure to makes us root for the FL on her way to destroy her bullies...that's a whole other level of evil from them!! 🙈
I didn't know Jung Jisoo was part of the cast!! I'm loving her in Curtain Call, I didn't even realize she was this young!! She's great!! 😍 I feel soooo bad for her though, like, don't touch my baby 😭
Btw, like others have said, the summary written here is a tad misleading, and really refers to the last 3 episodes or so of the drama, but since they showed the fire at the start of ep1, with the consequent episodes being sort of a flashback, I can't even say it is completely wrong!! xD
But people should still keep this in mind when watching it 👀
Maybe because after reading comments I knew what to expect (romance and family feud instead of a murder mystery), I found this to be quite nice for what it is.
Can't deny its flaws, especially technical stuff, like the editing, the overall production value feels quite low budget, the voice over narration is a tad corny, and the plot is over the top at times.
But all this aside, it was still an enjoyable watch, mostly because it was very short, and I liked the romance! Plus the ending was satisfying!!
Watched it for Zhang Xincheng, anyone who's his fan can give this a try imo!
It's not romance focused. There are a few couples though, meaning people that have a life and that includes having a partner (spouse, or bf/gf)..not sure this helps xD
