Novel’s gao probably will goes easy with lx,he is not really bad ppl in the novel,because he still repent himself in the end.
But for drama’s gao,nope,i ‘m sure he will be merciless to lx. Here he is really a bad guy who will trying every way to harm lx Tbh,i hope the director will make a great change about how lx will deal with gao in the drama, i wish lx will goes all the way to take LaP back,and put both gao and fzj in the prison. They both surely deserved punishment for their wrondoing

Lx really forgive gao in the novel,because deep in his heart,he still think of gao as a friend,and gao in the novel is a nicer person i think,he still feel guilty,and always wish lx will forgive him. The real villain in the novel is FZJ, they make change of Gao’s character for the drama,here is very unlikely for LX to forgive Gao,consider how evil he is,even involve in his sister’s death

I think 8.5 or 8.6 already very good, i guess these days many ppl just become oversensitive with cold ML,and so easily judge other ppl without want to know why they become like that in the first place. I saw love 020 and go go squid only get 8.4 and 8.5,despite it actually two of the most watched and popular modern drama in china. So 8.5 already very good for lighter and princess

Tbh,i really prefer if the drama show his childhood exactly as in the novel. It is a reality that family can be so abusive,but i understand they whitewashed LX’s childhood a lot to avoid censorship. It will hard to see i admited ,LX was beaten until black and blue everyday by his father and brothers,broken his rib at one time,showed how severely abused he was. His childhood was really dark and brutal in the novel.

Actually gjh in the novel is not a really bad person,and yes,he still feel guilty even after betrayed lx,and secretly always wish for his forgiveness ,and i don’t know how they will make it in the drama
