I personally think eps 15 and 16 should air in one day,it will give greater impact,instead of waiting for tomorrow

I also never like to watch drama while it is still ongoing,but i think this one different. This episode with xu lina maybe a bit boring for someone who onlu want to see LX and ZY,but she will not appear for a long time in the novel,this episode just set the scene for the next one

There are lots of sweet and romantic moment,and also angst and sad moment. But it is definitely not sweet romance without any real conflict

If you watch the first episode,it will show the ML released from prison,and what their life in campus will show as a flashback. This is not just an ordinary sweet,fluffy romance,there some angst in it,of you want find sweet anf fluffy one,than this is not for you

I agree he is overly handsome in this drama,and yes,that’s his real voice,he always use his own voice in all of his works

Actually you are not wrong if you so done with ZY mom. In the novel,ZY mom actually is the worst mom i’ve ever seen in the dramas,if there is ppl said they okay with her,i doubt they are in their right mind. Really a self righteous and heartless dictactor,controlling her daugther’s life

No,the ML actually one year younger than the FL

I heard the ML only 21 and the FL is 22 when shooting,and i agree their acting is brilliant,hard to believe they are so young

Yes,i am 😂and in my opinion,no one can fits Moran as good as him,even if he is a more season actor

I don’t agree because lyx looks great as TTJ that mean he can fit as Moran,they are completely different character. lyx does not has Moran ‘s vibes,temperament or physical description,also he is too old for that role,but he is a perfect Chu Wanning. I still think Chen Feiyu is the best as Moran

i really hope there are more fans who are interest to watch this very good drama,it’s really a refshresing co ncept for light on series,and cdrama in general

I also like the drama version,like you said,similar to wild west adventure which make it different with the other show. I never watch sisyphus,so can not comment about it,but i knew the rating is quite bad.
Maybe lots of fans,especially novel fans will think time loop/parallel universe plot twist will make gold panning more entertaining,and doesn’t feel to heavy and dark. Because I’ve read somewhere fans was confused and dissapointed why they remove the time loop plot twist in gold panning when other dramas could have it,and become succesfull because of that

Yes,they change the location and the genre. The novel is actually a fantasy adventure,with sci fi aspect like time loop etc, but the director decided to changed it into realistic one,like what we saw in the drama. I heard the director received quite a lot of backlash because of that. And the other dramas that release almost the same time with gold panning have a time loop and parallel universe genre,that the gold panning novel actually has,but the drama removed it,and i think maybe that make fans even more dissapointed

That maybe one of the reason,and another reason that i read also because it differed a lot from the novel,and that cause controversy among fans. As someone who never read the novel,i still think the drama adaptation is still very good,buy maybe fans over there have a different expectation

I really love this drama,cinematography,story,and acting are all excellent,and i think deserve much higher rating. Glad you’re writing a recap about this drama,hopefully many more peoples will know and love this hidden gem

Yes ,the theme is very mature and heavy, not many Arthur’s teenagers fans will like it lMAO… i hope more fans can contribute to give good rating and reviews for this great show
