We get more light scenes in the humble but homey bamboo forest house.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - one of the best scenes ever in this drama is when MY regains his eyesight. If the word "micro-expressions" needs to be defined, show this scene because Xixi as MY shows a gamut of emotions like shock, relief, and amazement in just a few seconds after realizing SJ was the one taking care of him. Outstanding acting!👏👏👏

SJ is really the cutest! Her setting up a divider but eventually snuggling to MY in her sleep and getting a swollen cheek coz of the bee sting were adorable. It is no wonder MY keeps smiling.

LOL! Same! 🤣

The fight scenes were truly epic! If I remember correctly, they said it took a month of filming to finish these battles. A big round of applause to the actors, stunt doubles, and the whole crew!

I did the cues for the 1st rewatch in 2023 (1 month after the official airing ended), Charley led the 2024 1st anniversary cues, and now we are having a combo cuing by those available for the 2025 2nd anniversary rewatch. 🥰 It's pretty fun coz we can catch some details we missed before or remember the really epic scenes.

There are only a handful of serene romantic scenes in TTEOTM so we cherish them. LOL!

Yup! Hat's off to Ji Ze and Chuang and bravo to all the ancient gods in this series! They were not self-serving and really fought for the realms. 🫡

Haha ADG is so smug - understandably so since he's so powerful. He just underestimated the will to protect of the other gods. I like how he threw a tantrum by striking the Heavenly Pillar. He's like, "If I'm going down, let's all go down together!" 🤣🤣

We have the Clam siblings on scene. Sang You is helping SJ with her cultivation. Just noticed SY also has very pretty hair ornaments like SJ. 🐚✨️ A soldier arrives with urgent news. Again, who decided to put that makeup on the Clam soldier?! 💀😂 SY hides the news from SJ but she learns it about the war and of MY going MIA.

Chuhuang's gift allows SJ to locate MY but he fell into the Ruo River with water that is corrosive to SJ. Since evil TH made her bathe in it before, being submered in Ruo water while saving MY strips away her last shell form. Our brave clam princess! 😭

SJ put baby dragon MY in a clam shell in a pot, which almost made MY into a tonic/stew by SY! LOL!
I wish we had more SY and SJ scenes. They are sweet siblings and gorgeous to look at, too! 😁

MY transforms back but same gripe as before. Why is he wearing clothes? 😈😂 SJ cleans him up and helps him change into fresh clothes. *wink wink* She looks at him adoringly as he sleeps but tells herself to snap out of it since MY doesn't have any feelings for her (according to him).

MY is temporarily blinded so SJ decides to care of him. She disguises her voice, and says she'll let MY stay if he helps out around her place. She tends to his superficial flesh wounds and his eyes.

Next we have the outdoor scenes of them sorting herbs, eating, and taking a sunlit stroll. It is so light, peaceful, and beautiful. 🌞🌼

ADG thought MY is running away but he actually goes towards the God Slaughtering Crossbow to destroy it and the main fragment falls into the Nether River.

ADG goes into a rage and strikes the Heavenly Pillar. His sword falls near emoting perm guy who stabs ADG just letting him lose enough power to let the Celestial Punishment crush him down. Yet ADG refuses to stay down and the Celestial Punishment is not enough to k-word him. He is so powerful since he was created along with the 2 ancient creation gods -predating the gods shown here.

My gets stabbed and crucified to the Heavenly Pillar. As the last resort, the remaining gods decide to sacrifice themselves to finish off ADG.

"All gods return to the ruins to protect the Heavens and Earth. Fall! "

This is amazing and heartwrenching at the same time. 😭🤧

The gods says goodbye to little MY in his Nirvana realm.
"Although we part from each other today, one day we shall reunite, in the form of snow on the mountaintops, or pebbles in streams and willows by the water"

The gods' essence form the holy halberd Yize and MY calls upon his golden serpent. Cool is an understatement!

He defeats ADG and uses the holy halberd to reform the Heavenly Pillar but falls into the Ruo River.

Ep.15

We see Ming Ye arriving to help Chuang to destroy the Evil Bone. It is ADG vs MY and Chuhuang vs. Perm Guy. However, MY's Divine Essence is running out so via 3-way god intercom, Ji Ze informed him that he will use his own DE to seal the Barren Abbys. I said this jokingly but I am tearing up like first time I saw this scene. Ji Ze... 😭

MY busts out his Venerable Twins and the battle rages on between the four. ADG eventually uses his God Slaughtering Crossbow to target MY. There is no escaping the hits until Chuhuang uses her power to create tears in space to divert them. Unfortunately, there are too many so she also sacrifices herself to let MY continue destroying the Evil Bone. Chuhuang is such a glorious, brave Phoenix Goddess and God of Space. Tearducts are having fun today. 😭

LSS was very sheltered in the Hengyang Sect so she is a babe in the woods in the mortal world. The fact that she didn't get offed as mortal-bodied YXW is a feat already. LOL! The good thing is that she is empathetic, and this helps guide her actions.

TTJ's childhood was sad, and it is still uncomfortable to see how he was abused. In a way, it was a blessing in disguise that he was emotionless before developing love threads, so he didn't have to suffer extreme emotional pain, too.

I think one of the best parts of the first few eps was the fun banter between TTJ and YXW. TTJ digs at YXW were a hoot! 🤣


I couldn't finish ep.3 and won't have time to watch ep.4 today either. I'll have to catch up with y'all on the weekend.

I found this funny friend duo from SG. She loves ZLH in The Best Thing and he mentions she is ham sup. It reminded me of what you said about Susu. 🤣🤣🤣
