I'll never understand why, after a breakup, the female lead usually doesn't care, and do their work, while the male lead chases her unconditionally, trying to reconcile. Is there a reason behind this? They often depict the male lead as pathetic post-breakup man, there's no new girl in his life, whereas the female lead already has a suitor who makes him jealous.
