no. she is infected and lost her memory. so ML goes away to find a cure for her. when he comes back he sees that guy kissing her.
that guy basically kissed her without her consent. there's no triangle. the FL gives birth to ML's child later. the FL d!es in season 3 and ML d!es in the final movie. their child was raised by another couple
Imma sum up Hibiki and Kurumi's relationship here:
they've been together since high school, he was about to propose her but they get separated because of the apocalypse. they reunited after a long time, sleep together and she gets pregnant. she gives birth, d!es, the baby gets kidnapped.
in this movie Hibiki finds his daughter, d!es while saving her, becomes golem, years later his daughter k*lls him (to end his suffering).
the story starts with Hibiki hiding a ring to propose Kurumi and it ends with their daughter placing that ring on Hibiki's neck after he d!ed. I cried during the last scene.
started watching it because Ryoma is there.. I am on episode 1 and his character is such an a-hole😭

I would like this better if he doesn't end up with Ayumi in the end. I am all in for character development, good for him but please🙄 she deserves better!

The last couple eps HURT me It's always a delight to watch Kento Yamazaki but srsly Otarō is also such an enjoyable…
there's no romance actually imo. Otaro kept forcing himself on Saiko for own selfish reasons and never loved Mikoto truly. he even said 'I do' to wedding vows to Mikoto. Basically got married to her. until he couldn't kiss her. that was so lame. he realized he loves Saiko only when she d*ed!? I really hope he didn't end up with any of these girls because they deserve better.
its so important to talk about people dealing with infertility. I am actually glad they didn't go 'oh the reports were wrong' way. yes. people with infertility issue exist and they deserve every happiness they want. a human shouldn't be defined by if they can reproduce or not. it never reduces their value as a person.
ML: super nice. respects women and very sensible. reserved but not shy.
FL: nice but dense. she can't sense people's bad intentions and blindly trust them. doesn't express her thoughts much. doesn't speak up when she's uncomfortable.
villains: oh they're INSANE. the acting is so good that you'd want to punch them through the screen.
what I didn't like: FL was drunk and ML was sober when they slept together the first time. I know she initiated it but still. He was sober enough to refuse.
