Watching all the trailers i never expected this type of ending ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜What's this rushed ending.. i think…
I mean, to be fair, that ending was true to the novel. But, also to be fair, they took a lot of liberties changing stuff in the 2nd part...sooo.... I wanted a wedding.
Okay so how many times is Shaoshang going to have a blade at her neck bruh.
Bruh...i don't know where you are...but all i can say is it doesn't happen that often in the novel. LOL, when the knife to the neck becomes lazy scriptwriting....That thing with LJT in the carraige, it doesn't happen in the novel.
where can i fast track online? i don't use wetv whatever app??? anyone know
It can only be done through the Tencent app. You select an episode that is marked as Express. Read the rules. Keep in mind you cannot stream out of the app. The express episodes are DRM protected.
Can anyone send link of express videos 49 to 56 bcz in my country we tv is banned so is there any site where I…
There isn't a link. It has to be purchased directly from the Tencent app. If you have the app just click an express episode and it'll prompt for you to pay.
Okay, so I skipped to the ending. There is no wedding ceremony. After defeating the final villain, CSS and LBY…
I'm so sorry. I had a realistic mind set the whole time. I went by the music video which told me no wedding. I wish there was one too. They took a lot of liberties towards the end. So why not include a wedding? But I never keep my hopes up for cdramas. I'd have been disappointed enough to make a dollar if each hope was a penny.
Okay, so I skipped to the ending. There is no wedding ceremony. After defeating the final villain, CSS and LBY along with most of the Cheng family (no gran gran) and Yuan Shen are together at camp. CSS and LBY plan to just get married in Hua County, no engagement, much to the indignation of Wendy. Gran Gran is happy for them. Back at camp, everyone stares at the stars. The End. I expected this ending. I'll start posting some of the difference I saw skimming the earlier episodes later when I wake up.
For those that want the novel extra chapters HEA:
CSS and LBY get married, have several children and eventually grandchildren. After serving the country for many years, they decide life is too short and spend the rest of their time travelling the country together. The End.
Overall skimming impression. As a novel reader, a good chunk of content was cut in the drama. They also changed what happen with Yuan Shen and Luo Jitong. Yuan Shen is not as much of a dick, and Luo Jitong just goes crazy and tries to stab CSS. Both Yuan Shen and Luo Jitong make up a good amount of chapters after LBY returns from his exile. Luo Jitong is suppose to ambush CSS. Yuan Shen was suppose to get jailed for months. The engagement was suppose to last a few months. None of this happens. I still think it was okay, but my guess is people will find the ending rushed. So many events happen and are not fleshed out. The novel handled the reconciliation better,IMO. It was a long arduous process for LBY. In the drama is was kind of lackluster tbh. But I thought it was alright. Again, I just skimmed.
Biggest disappointment to me was the reconciliation. I like enjoyed Lusi's acting on the reconciliation, but a bunch of the memorable scenes in the novel, just didn't happen.
Ahh a fellow PST'er. I'm considering if I just want to to go to sleep now and just binge when I wake up.
I'm so tired, but I feel once I start watching I won't be able to stop. I'm going to find out the end at least. And for sure watch the episode where they reconcile.
I just finished episode 46 and I'm wondering did LBY switch identities as a child? I will have to watch it again…
So that his life would be spared. His cousin is the real LBY. His real name is Huo Wushang. So, he is the son of the General Huo, who's entire family was massacred at Gu City by Ling Yi. If his aunt didn't claim that he was LBY and he was found to be Huo Wushang, he would've been murdered as well. The truth hasn't been revealed as of episode 46. But they sprinkled hints throughout the series. It should be obvious, when CSS noticed that the portrait of General Huo looks like LBY, of his true identity.
In order to survive and live until he can get his revenge, he continues to pretend to be LBY, until episode 49, where he will carry out his revenge.
i was so busy during the past few weeks and finally catching up to the episodes....in ep 38 when the king had…
So novel insight. It was suppose to be comical or not that serious for everyone except CSS. In the novel everyone was like, CSS wtf. Can't you tell this is all BS? The only person getting beaten for reals was Fifth Prince. They were using a different paddle to hit LBY in the novel. But CSS was too emotional to realize what was really happening. Even LBY was kind of in on it. He pretends to pass out in CSS's embrace. CSS at this point is like balling uncontrollably. That said it was a good show. LBY was bleeding. CSS behavior had completely changed and each hit to him was like a painful hit to her heart.

Edit: Paid for let's go!
