I binge-watched this drama until halfway through and eagerly watched each episode daily when it was on. I loved most of the storyline except for the brain tumour, which I felt was repetitive and drawn out. I have just watched the last episode and find myself empty and unfulfilled. The writers have left the whole family hanging on the whereabouts of their son/bro/grandson and left the audience knowing he is going to die. A lot of characters who were on the good side died.

I found Yuanruo the sole heir of Qi very very handsome and loved his ongoing continuous love for Ming Lan though Im still to see him marrying the princess. I dont find ML overly handsome and as he already has bedded many women and has children I am hoping that thier upcoming romance will make it worth the wait.
