I did not like that too but what pissed me even more that the main couple did not have any chemistry, they did not feel like lovers. And there were not any bed scenes which I would forgive if they at least had the chemistry. They just felt weird as a couple to me. And the second season (Sotus S) is even worse, I dropped it.

I think it was not because of your aromantism, I was kinda dissapointed, as well. The actors (and the characters) were cute, but it is probably all the positive I can say about it. The story was too simple and it looked kinda artificial to me. They created something just to make the characters somehow interact and if the actors were not so cute, it would be a disaster. I also found Gavreel's character too confident and annoying, he did not show any respect to Cairo and called him "baby" from the beginning. If I were Cairo, I would block him immediately. I have seen worse shows, but I had higher expectations when everybody praised it so much. The subsequent movie was even a bit worse in my opinion. They did not mostly communicate through computers , so the poor script was more visible.

Dew. I have not watched it yet, but I plan to. Or try the "reincarnation" tag.

I really enjoy watching it. It has quite a slow pace and there is no big drama there so far, but it is entertaining anway. It is more realistic than the anime, Anda (Izumi) is not that childish, the parents are not so uncaring etc. The characters are not that extreme, they are more believable. So, I would say it has a different feeling than the anime, but I like it. Animated characters can afford to be more unrealistic, but I think it would look strange in the live action series if they did not change anything. It also feels lighter than the anime, the emotions are not so "heavy", it is more a romantic comedy. I like both the versions, but this one even more.

The subs on YouTube are really bad and it ruins the whole impression. I recommend to always wait until Oops Im an Alien puts here a link to the particular episode with her subtitles. I enjoy the show like that and I am glad there is no big drama, you can just relax watching it.

I totally understand and I think this show is exactly what you need.

I enjoy the fillers more than unnecessary drama in other shows. It is still entertaining and makes you feel good. It is only important that you have quality subtitles, otherwise it does not make sense.

I am enjoying it. It is a (romantic) comedy, but not stupid. When watching other series that attempt to be humorous, I often feel cringe, but this one is really good in my opinion. I never roll my eyes or shake my head, I just smile all the time. It is only important that you have good subtitles for it, so use the links in the comments by Oops Im an alien.
