yeah because i am a lot stricter with my ratings. not everyone gives lots of 10s like you :) but you still have not explained why you felt the need to come onto the original to say that another version is better? it is for attention isn't it? 💀

don't even lie you literally came onto this page to comment this to get other people's attentions. there is no problem with you liking the newer version but it's extremely rude for you to degrade the original on its page. plus, you never mentioned in your original comment that it was just your opinion - you said it as if it was a fact so your phrasing is obviously going to make people disagree. if you said the newer version if better for yourself or in your opinion then we wouldn't have cared. the original remains iconic to us so obviously we wouldn't want to see some random person who denies it completely and doesn't even give a reason or explanation 💀

i've been rewatching this drama and all i can say is that yan bingyan's acting ruined this show 💀 this could've done so much better

i wouldn't say so - the main actors are not very popular and the costs for the drama wasn't that high either

what do you mean a forced sad ending?? i would argue that this is the best ending for the two of them. XF would not be able to live on happily anymore anyways and her death is a great punishment for LCY. her death also stopped war between the two places because LCY listened to her before she died. it would be forced and very fake if it was a happy ending where they suddenly get together for a happy ever after.

not sure if you've started either already. i personally think that love and redemption is more worth watching because the plot is not as generic to me. in love like galaxy to air, i feel like the female lead is always needing the male lead to end up saving her. but in love and redemption, the female lead is actually really powerful and stronger than the male lead, which is quite rare in these types of historical dramas. i usually prefer a better portrayal of female characters but everyone has different preferences :)

apart from fans of the main actor and actress, i'm pretty sure that most people hate it and find it an absolute joke.
