Netflix original series are still release either at once or they split season in parts. This is made for TV and it's on Netflix only after the broadcast that's why there's only one episode per week

Jessie's character being 26 is possible to me, but Takezai's character being older than his actual age is not believable. he looks too young... also makes me think how old Shinohara's character is supposed to be. she looks young in the flashbacks, but it can't be more than 10 years in the past? 🤔
Most jdramas don't have an international release, so this might not have one either. (also btw I saw your comment that this look like a BL to you, but it's not a BL)

Tanaka Koki was ML in Sugar Dog Life and ML from Sahara-sensei and Toki-kun was Hachimura Rintaro... they don't even look alike
also fyi TVer don't have english subs
