Yang Yang is usually not like that? I noticed that a lot of people ship him with Dilraba, some even with Zhao Lu Si. I must say his energy with WCR is amazing, I could watch them forever.

As I see people complaining about the performance of the main leads, I must say I do not agree. For me, they perfectly portray a couple that loves each other but is tormented by their situation. It was clear from Episode 1 how much Song Yan still loves Xu Qin. I immediately sensed how much restraint he had in keeping them hidden. I love his character and I can understand why Xu Qin loves him so much. I also understand why he loves her despite her issues. I focus on the feeling I get while watching if the person can make me feel the love and longing, the pain and restraint, even if not every microexpression is spot on.

I totally agree. I do not understand people who want a couple to reconcile immediately and then spend the next 20 episodes watching them in a happy relationship. I am bored by these kind of dramas. Push and pull gives the electricity and excitement I need when watching a love story.
