Super disappointed with how he handled the r*pe case. Attempting to marry off the victim to her r*pist... He needs to fix himself and realize this is just the start of his descent into corruption if he allows this happen. If he is willing to look away from one injustice over his own clan/ambition, who is to say he won't continue until it is too late.

No, according to what we know now, Jiang Ci's master /visited/ Yue Luo (which goes with the flashback we saw with the Yan sisters and Prince Qi going there for negotiations). And it seems like while she was there, she had the bitterless congee. We still don't know about the Yan sisters' background, but they aren't from Yue Luo.

I have this other celeb I liked that have their variety show produced on iQiyi and yeah, the subs were terrible then too. I think they just don't care about the international audience enough unless there is enough complaints.

WeTV's subs are pretty okay. And wherever dramacool got their episodes from had pretty decent subs too.
I won't recommend iQiyi for this drama. I don't know if they usually have terrible subs or not but this drama is produced by Tencent and not iQiyi (they only brought the rights to air it on their website too) so I feel like iQiyi doesn't care for subs with the international audience since it is not their own drama.

Yeah, I don't know if the subs made it obvious but Yue Luo is Moon Fall/Moon Set/Under the Moon so when the child started singing about the home being under the moon, people can view that as Wei Zhao's and his people's POV which makes it even sadder.

Are the subs for iQiyi better now? I tried episode 1 for iQiyi and saw the English subs and they were terrible before. Some didn't match the dialogues and the subject/pronouns were sometimes wrong so I feel like it did be so confusing for non-Chinese speakers/listeners.
