Somehow I still don't want to get them back together because I feel that SHM is still untrustworthy. We are now in Ep24 but SHM's immediate response when he feels cornered or uncomfortable is still to lie or trick the other person. He has lied about his son's paternity, lied that he loved XuYan, lied about being out of the country and his health just to avoid divorce, lied about having a company retreat so he can help XuYan deliver her goods. We can say that the last two are white lies because he realized he loves XuYan but my point is that he's turning out to be a habitual liar and would rather lie than discard his pride and would continue to lie to get what he wants.

Honestly I kind of get that comment. Xu Yan might have created an illusion of Haoming that she would do anything for. Because she felt unloved by her family, she fell for the person Haoming portrayed himself as but we know that he was just lying to her the whole time, yes he might have actually loved her but just didn't know it but the fact remains that he was manipulating her at first. When she finally chose to divorce, she had already let go of that illusion. Remember in Ep16 she said that she finally realized that Haoming is not the person she imagined him to be, his love isn't what she thought it was.

I have been hating Shen Haoming since the crying at dinner scene where XuYan begged him to start over but he still refused her and just ate while she struggled to stop crying. After that he kept disrespecting her. He lied and used her throughout their marriage and in the divorce period he's still lying and tricking her to stay married coz he realized he loved her after all. His helping her deliver her goods in Ep 24 almost moved me but when XuYan asked why he was able to be there he lied again and said they had a company retreat 🤦🏻‍♀️I'm dropping the series now coz I feel like the writers would let them get back together and I'll just keep hoping they won't coz Shaoming is a habitual liar and would probably lie to her again and again.

Great casting. Bai Jingting as Sang Yan is a good choice.

I kind of look at it this way. The watch gets activated the moment Sunjae dies with thoughts of Sol.
1. The 2023 watch was activated at 12 midnight because that's when Sunjae died in 2023. It was able to return Sol to June 2008. The 2009 watch was activated in the morning because he died in the morning. And since it was a 2009 watch, it was able to return Sol much further into the past.
2. Sol returns to a time that she thinks can change Sunjae's fate: before the swimming competition so he will remain a swimmer; before he met CEO so he won't get scouted; before 2009 abduction so he won't meet the psycho; before their first meeting so he won't love her.

Trivia: During the first travel, you can see Sol falling into the past (play it at 0.5x). This wasn't repeated in the next travels 🙂

I also hope not. Most of their dramas are good at the start then choke on the last episodes with less than satisfying endings. I'm still sad that with Crash Landing they only get to spend a little time with each other every year. That's also why I was so afraid that LR will be the same but Lee ShiEun gave one of the best endings ever.

I've decided to rewatch True Beauty and realized that Kim Chorong was SeoJun's friend in high school (True Beauty) then became Sunjae's friend in college (LR). Another easter egg by Lee SiEun😵‍💫😅
