Win and Team story was always supposed to start with a one night stand, we can read between the lines in UWMA.
But they indeed change some things from UWMA while still being a parallel story. Doesn't make any sense but whatever 🤣
Win (and Team) from Between Us are way closer to the book than they were in UWMA.

If you're talking about Between Us Special, it was just a collection of short clips about Team and Win without any plot, just some random scenes.
They made this for entertainment only, to please the fans while we were waiting for the real show. It was not really "canon" or anything and you don't really need to watch it.
It's kind of fun tho.

If I remember correctly, just some scene from UWMA and a discussion about Dean. And the NC scene is shorter.

If the uncut YT version is the same than iQiyi, there are some cut scenes (mostly Pharm and Dean's scenes, and a conversation about Dean) and the NC scene is shorter.

You know, I love how Pharm and Dean are boringly sweet and cute and drama free together (ptsd from their past lives aside) but I'm here to watch Team and Win, no need to add scenes from UWMA we already saw 😅

Keeping my expectations at 0 and waiting impatiently at the same time is quite an experience but I'm so good at it 🤣

Not me crying every time they show us a coming-out scene with supportive parents... seriously, I feel as emotional as First.

I don't care about the curse thing, he wasn't wrong about that, but the outing? I'm pissed. Homophobia is a thing in this school, and if you've been a victim yourself, you shut the fuck up about it.

As someone who was outed in middle school and had to deal with the consequences, lost friends and had to hide even farther into the closet so my mum would stop her homophobic rents, I will NEVER forgive Thua.
