The show started today, the english name is Threads of destiny
Yes, I started watching this today, was trying to find it on MDL for the last 30minutes lol, luckily I remembered one of the actors and followed the trail here hehe
50 episodes...ehh...from a 16 episode dramaAge gap is crazyπ«’but it's whatever...I guess
Also got taken aback by the 50 episodes, depends on the length of the episodes also, because the remake of "What's wrong with Secretary Kim" was 40 episodes, 29 minutes in length, so this may follow the same format, so overall the length of the drama as a whole is similar to the K-version
The leads are growing on me especially their relationship growth but the line delivery is still making me cackle…
haha I'm with you, I'm listening to the dialogue and internal monologues and thinking do people speak like this, it feels like acting in some parts (not all parts) the delivery at times, which sounds weird because they're acting, but they need to make me forget that they're acting π but I am overall enjoying it and loving the leads
Arggh after ep 1 I can't stand ML, when will he be better??
He gets better from Episode 3, way better and our leads express themselves and communicate much better from that point, well there's only 5 episodes out so far but he's been good in the last 3 π
It's apart of the same book series, called the "University Series"...The rain in espana is the first book (Luna's…
Definitely give it a try. If you are enjoying this one you should enjoy the rest. Rain in espana was my first watch, back then I didn't even know it was part of a series, I certainly enjoyed it. One of my first Filipino series as well and I'm really enjoying it π
What's the connection with rain in espana? I liked tht drama, should i give it a try?
It's apart of the same book series, called the "University Series"...The rain in espana is the first book (Luna's story), Avenues of a Diamond (Sam's story) is the fourth book in the series. 2nd book: Safe Skies Archer (Yanna's story) 3rd book: Chasing in the wild (Sevi's story)
There are 6 books in total, the other two telling Via (5th) and Kierra's (6th) stories
Also a bit confused on this one. Some say releasing on Thursdays but it comes out the next day (Friday). Although the start date was April 11th, a Friday, so I'm just going with Friday, less expectation on Thursdays
Is it stand alone? Or do I have to watch the other three to finally come to this?
I think they are well standalone, you can start with this if you want. Starting from the beggining just introduces you to the main circle of friends, that's the only connection. There is a few dialogue here and there that hints at the other characters stories but nothing you'll miss out on because its not major to the plot for the main characters.
This entire franchise of dramas follows a very nonlinear structure in the filming style, so you are always getting bits and pieces from them and why I don't think the order in which you watch matters
but I am overall enjoying it and loving the leads
