I really enjoyed this drama but the prince being sick part and I'm reading comments asking if the FL can read is tangling my brain, it's taking me to WCRG, where it was exactly that, the prince pretended to be sick and she couldn't read 🙈 and it was Xiwei as the FL there too😅 lol

What's the episode rule again? I forget how many. And is it a Youku thing or all Chinese dramas?

So this is way off track but I was curious, about the episode with the love bridge, did Song Tao Toa and Cheng Li Su get to the other side? In the episode they went halfway and I was so curious about whether they completed it. Is that in the Novel?

🤗 I was thinking the exact same. I thought of just restarting episode 1 now but then I'll probably speed through the episodes and still have to wait for the drama to be complete 😂🤣

He does come across unsure of himself, and having a one track mind (him not taking HY hints on she doesn't like him is proof of this), which I feel may come from his past trauma with his mother and him trying to navigate that. Its like he wishes his mother had a chance to be strong in the way HY is and he projects those feelings. But otherwise he's not really causing chaos, if anything that Li Quang general (hope I got that name right) frustrated me in that one episode compared to all the episodes Chu Zhao has been in 🙈

lol yeah I get you, for me he's just there, I'm pretty neutral on how I feel about him, no hate, he hasn't done anything to frustrate me so far so I have no issues with him on that regard

They spoke about it, I can't remember the episode, it was when she was supposed to meet Chu Zhao to go moon viewing 🙄 but he bailed and XJ came to tell her he wasn't coming - they ended up speaking about the osmanthus candy and XJ said he gave the last one from his mother to a blind girl at that temple, so HY knows it was him but as far as I understood XJ doesn't know it was her, she was still pretending to be a guy and XJ hadn't confronted her yet so must've been sometime before episode 9 (when he confronts her) if I remember correctly

At this point I think its literally all in his mind. How many hints has He Yan given him but he's not listening, more like doesn't want to listen, his false hope tunnel vision has made him delusional 🙊 like he can see how HY looks XJ, Chu even questioned HY, if XJ is the person she wants to trail blaze with (so he sees it) but he still acts ignorant to it all

Exactly, I got confused especially the battle part when XJ said he call Yan He over to help, I was like whaat, lets rewind and understand again

lol really, I didn't get that feeling at all, she only has eyes for XJ, I feel she's just courteous to Chu Zhao, and has never wavered

I know 😢 even though waiting for episodes is excruitiating, this drama also feels too short, like there's only 10 episodes left - feels too little, I need more

I want to say yes, thats my hope anyways, it would just make it better that way, and he was also a general in his time and a smart one at that and mentored He Yan, so I hope he figured it out and knew and was open minded about women leading male dominated roles (and this is why Xiao Jue is also open minded about this as well, not that he can't be on his own, but it was a value instilled in him by his parents). Anyways I'm going to said yes 🙂 this is me hoping lol
