Wow! you just mirrored my hopes... and thoughts. Also for me is hardly believable Xiaoxi (with her clear moral principles) could really have feelings for another man as she is deeply in love with Bei (so much that you see her so happy when he awkwardly proposed). As the last episode is not showing explicitly how they got back together, I just hope there would be a last episode with that.

I think the intro spells the main theme: in modern society, adultery is inevitable, so that if you'd care about your partner, you should make it "perfect" aka undetectable. this conclusion could be really hard to digest for most people, so they mitigate it through 13th eps ending. Yet, it was an enjoying show, with some food for thoughts, some comic scenes, some dramatic performances... and introduced to my Nimura Sawa - I see her an actress with high potential.
Pretty much same opinion about this drama. I also had the feeling that last episode was intended as a moral lesson: if you sincerely repent, life/partner will give you a second chance. imo is a forced conclusion; the one emerged in 12th eps makes more sense for me.

Indeed quite confusing if you think of the drama name... and just in eps.7 you get why that happens. otherwise, was a slick move to catch attention of the viewers.
I would just nuance on "being strong and end up with herself": being strong and true to herself = as she clearly is attracted by Ureshino, she must ask him to stand his position (like "what am I to you") and keep him away as long as he is not sharing openly his feeling. As far as i understood from seen episodes, she is looking for a life partner; but then she need to be decisive in what is expecting and what is openly asking from her partners.

Goeun/Igeon - I share your opinion and just add my thoughts: they were actually yearning for each other all these 5/6mths and use the time to reflect on their deeds; the beating around the bush during their dinner I think is due to their thinking/prejudice(?) that "the first who love is the first to lose". I found it often as a common prejudice of young people especially in cultures with strong focus on appearance.

Goeun-Igeon meetings were also my focus in this sequel. From what I saw in SI series, Igeon was pretty red-flag and I understood Goeun decision to give up on him and I was curious about this 6mths follow-up. It was quite shocking to realize Igeon stupidly made himself a red-flag ... just because he was stupidly in love - you know, that love that actually made you stupid, blind, irrational towards your loved one. I am glad they cleared their minds and had the chance to convey their feelings to each other. Hope to get more news how their relations progress.
