I am guessing one of the reasons they cast her in these cute roles is because she does them well and so naturally, and many viewers like her because of that. Her previous work before this one, LGIEF was a huge hit and I have to say I loved it because of how funny and how cute she was. That lead me to watch all of her other dramas. The only drama I saw before LGIEF was LBFAD. Have you seen her in My Journey To You or Moonlight? They showed the range of her capabilities.
I have learnt a long time ago not to rely on MDL rating to decide whether to watch a drama. Watch a few episodes and decide for yourself whether the drama is for you. These actors/actresses, including your favourites work hard on these dramas, from making it to promoting it. It is ok not to like it because we all have different preferences, however at least give some constructive criticism and don’t just come at them with pure hate.
I like this drama for many other reasons than just the leads, even though I find them adorable together. I love the snow ❄️ and seeing a whole drama dedicated to winter is amazing with so many pretty scenes. I also love seeing protective, loyal friendships, nice family dynamic, how nice the ML character treats the FL character, the OST are beautiful and there are many other great things. It is a light, easy viewing drama.
There is also no doubt being cut down from 34 episodes to 23 episodes is a hindrance to the storyline, but that is out of control for the cast. I will continue to support this drama because it is my cup of tea ☃️

Where did I say the voice of a character is pointless? Lol It just happened that EY’s voice is suitable for the characters she played. I also never said EY is perfect, no actor or actress is. She is, however, a smart cookie who has chosen her roles well and it obviously paid off for her because she had multiple hit dramas since her debut. That’s a bit rich coming from someone who randomly dropped a comment, criticising an actress’s voice without watching her current drama. If you watch SIL you would have known many parts of her dialogue are much slower than ARoTLF. Btw I am not a promoter nor a die hard fan, I am a fan of Cdrama in general and I like EY dramas as well as many of others. I want to discuss the script, the production, the acting including characters development. I just can’t stand pointless, non constructive criticism about the actress’ voice, making the comment section toxic and unbearable.

Love how Wei Zhi didn’t throw her assistance under the bus to benefit herself. Loyal character, that’s what I want to see 👏🏼 and the OST are also very nice. I listened to Snowy Secret at the end of each episode 🎶
