I mean I don't understand people can see romance between a 900 year old man and a 20 year old girl , an alien…
I still think the show is decent, but some of these scenes are just wet dreams of a pervy director/writer.
I have seen quite a lot of disturbing productions out there, including some with incest (for example, Old Boy). Those were absolutely masterpieces. However, with this show there is a bit of a weird vibe going on. There is absolute no artistic value in it. Until so far, we have not seen anything wrong and to be fair I do not think we will see something wrong, but the director/writer is definitely trying hard to make the situation awkward. When they want the mother and son to date, they should just go for it and give a good rationale why it is not weird... But now they are playfully teasing that idea, which makes it disgusting. I think both are the type of guy that would sniff on used underpants. When watching the show, I cannot stop thinking that the director must have filmed the show with one tongue sticking out, moaning heavily and salivating on these weird relationships he has created haha
I am pretty sure that the director is one hell of a pervy guy. He loves to slide in some uncalled passive-aggressive scenes in. The FL with the ML and vice versa, the second FL with JG's friend and how Yeonwoo dresses and how people (the police officers) look at her are weird choices. I was baffled when in episode 7, the foster mom of JG told DY that she should stand in front of him and take off all her clothes.
Look there is nothing wrong with a more mature, racy plot (TWOTM for example), but somehow I have the feeling that this was not part of the plan (unlike TWOTM). Instead, the director is using the drama as an excuse to make these actresses come across as promiscuous as possible, which detracts from the main plot about time-travelling.
This is one of the few dramas where the scumbag villain is getting appreciation and new fans. I also have to laugh when I read the biography of Kim Ji-hoon on MDL: " He is best known for his romantic comedies on television..." Not anymore, not anymore... I find it also ironic that he majored in psychology in real life
The rating makes no sense to me. Currently watching: 8,6.Dropped: 5,3.Verified/Stars Rating: 6,7Showing rating:…
This is the only drama where the overall rating is higher than its constituents. Normally, the constituent ratings are higher than the overall ratings.
Normally I would agree with you, but only recently we saw the same thing happening in Germany. You might have…
Sure, I am just playing the devil's advocate over here. But technically BHS was fighting against two out-of-shape officers, because the rest were watching the lovey-dovey re-uniting scene between CJW and DHS. And disarming four is still more difficult than disarming two.
However, the scene was sloppy. They should have arrested both DHS and BHS at the same time. What if DHS was still crazy and would hurt CJW? The safety measures of the police is very questionable indeed.
It might be too early to hand out the Baeksangs of next year, but I think Lee Joon-gi, Moon Chae-won and Kim Ji-hoon are good contenders. I think their acting is even better than the cast of IOTNBO.
That was bs...so many polices with eyes and guns and yet that crazy guy was able to steal a gun.
Normally I would agree with you, but only recently we saw the same thing happening in Germany. You might have heard of the guy as it was all over the news in July. He was nicknamed the German Rambo: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-53451478
The dude just got out of a 14 year coma and he's still controlling the board.
No offense, but if you really think that the mom's way of raising him has anything to do with the craziness of BHS, then I am at a lost for words... It is DHS's dad and the lunatic nature of BHS that made him a murderer, not his mom...
My view is that the mom is blaming herself for BHS, but she must accept that she is not at fault. Instead, BHS is a natural-born psycho. If she accepts that, then she can do the right thing. Now she is protecting him, because she thinks she made a mistake, which is far from the truth.
Why did Hae Soo just stand there and wait to be stabbed? I find that so ridiculous and now I don't care if she…
Because she is protecting Eun-ha. If she is alone, I bet she will try to kill the shit of BHS... If she loses, he will go after Eun-ha as well, because she will have heard everything. Now the kiddo did not witness anything. However, the best thing to do is to lock yourself up in the room and call the police.
I am getting confused here how does it work why was the FL as his mother aware of what will happen in the future…
It is because of the Book of Prophecy (prophecy means prediction) that she stole in episode 1.
The Book of Prophecy misses one page though. In episode 1, the dead professor ripped that page out and gave it to the little girl. I think that that little girl is the current FL. That is why she holds the key to time travelling, because she has the last page.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that that is technically possible with different parallel universes and…
After thinking about it, it is still sort of incest. Tae-yi would be the combination of JG and DY, so JG consists of DNA of TY (his parallel self and parallel DY) and MH. So when DY has a relationship with JG (who has DNA of parallel JG, parallel DY and MH), she has a relationship with a parallel version of herself as well... In other words, it would still be disturbing haha...
Let's just forget about this shizzle and hope that the director just goes for a more traditional relationship with no blood ties
Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that that is technically possible with different parallel universes and timelines:
- Jin-gyum 1 and Do-yeon 1 have a kid: Tae-yi 1 - Tae-yi 1 and Min-hyuk 1 have a kid: Jin-gyum 2 - Jin-gyum 2 and Do-yeon 2 have a kid: Tae-yi 2 etc. etc. etc.
But it becomes the story of the chicken and egg (which came first, which came later)
Min hyuk looks best with tae yi dont know why they r forcing JG-TY pairing. Where is the min hyuk of this parallel…
They explained it in earlier episodes. Time at Alice is different than time for Jin-gyum. Only one year passed at Alice, whilst 29 years past for Jin-gyum. We also saw this when Jin-gyum went back to 2010 after his accident. He only went there for hours, but he was missing for one week in 2020 according to DY and TY.
If anyone's wondering whether to watch this or not, do it, it's something completely different from other dramas.…
I am sort of fine that the FL develops feelings for the ML. She does not know who he is... I am also fine that the ML does not tell her anything. Dude has alexithymia, so he does not know what "love" is. So far so good, but what makes it awkward is the extra romantic music that the director has put behind it...
The music department of this show deserves to be fired.

Might be blood from another body part or BHS ?
