Yes, it's worth to continue. After 8 episodes I must admit the screenwriter did an outstanding job and the performances are top notch too. In the beginning I was too focused on the children (probably watched too much Strong Girl Bong Soon) but it's actually the parents who are at the center stage in this show. How it unfolds I will see.
If you get past to Frank's arc and still find it boring, then this drama isn't for you. Dip and bounce and find…
No. It's a great show. I only found the killing rampage irritating and exaggerated as the others fought light years better and still got killed though Frank is only a second class superhuman as he did do literally nothing in the fights, contrary to Joo-won.
Since I don't trust ratings on this site at all I have a question: is the plot and characters well written? Objectively?…

I have watched 4 episodes so far and it starts to become boring. One single guy is killing all people; it becomes so predictable that watching the fight scenes is wasted time. Does it continue this way? I've heard somewhere that this bad guy survives all 20 episodes?
The same thing happens in Latin America, it's a shame, because I have both Prime and Disney+ and I can't watch…
Latin America is the second biggest Kdrama market after Asia (incl middle east), that's why many non-original shows on Netflix are dubbed in Spanish (often the only foreign language available).
Boygroups are made for children. If BTS gets fat bellies and wrinkles nobody will scream after them. The next…
Hard to understand?? If he wants to continue singing, going solo or joining a real musical group is the only option as boygroups are coming and going. If he wants to continue singing he can do it solo, like Seo In-guk.
Makes me furious that Amazon Prime got the streaming rights. If that isn't bothering enough it will be not available in Germany, just like older shows like Tunnel or Tomorrow With You. Squeezing out money is one thing, not making available all shows in most countries is another thing. It took Disney+ more than a year to make their first Kdrama available in Germany; since April or May this year they finally added 23 Kdramas (the reality TV/gaming show crap and music shows not included)... a few shows, like Dr. Romantic 3, are still missing. If these wanna-be-Kdrama-streaming-sites, such as Amazone Prime, Apple TV or Paramount+, want to enter the Kdrama market, they should get organized and competent first, like Netflix. Up until now they only dream of their own "Squid Game" and thus rising stock prices (Netflix shares reached an all-time high in October/November 2021; 600 USD per share, to be more precise). What the aforementioned companies seem to forget is, that even at that time (fall 2021) Netflix's originals were available in 90+ countries and already dubbed in several languages.

It seems to be a remake of 'Strong Girl Bong Soon'. This will become disappointing. You will constantly compare this show with the original. The two male leads, for example, can't keep up with the original male leads by light years. Makes me wanna rewatch 'Strong Girl Bong Soon' for a fifth or sixth time.
Noticed how it said he'll quit the group, but nothing about quitting singing. I wonder if he'll release solo albums?
Boygroups are made for children. If BTS gets fat bellies and wrinkles nobody will scream after them. The next boygroups are already in the making at the military-base-like academies as the new generation of children needs to be satisfied.
One of a very few "idols" who are trying their best to improve their acting skills, instead of being lazy and spoiled, only relying on "fame" and "looks". He has potential and can grow, as an actor, if he keeps choosing the right scripts, like he did in the case of 'The King's Affection' and 'Destined with You', and prove his acting versatility (different roles with different expressions in different genres) in the future. Good luck!
I guess this must be really good it just won Best Drama at the 2nd Blue Dragon Series awards beating the likes…
A drama or movie is great only bc it got an "award"? In my 50 years of observing events like that in Cannes, Venedig or Berlin, or Baeksang, Academy Award or GG, I learned that it has a political agenda and is full of bias. For example, for a long time Hollywood boykotted independent artists from the East Coast who weren't willing -at least at that time- to sell their soul to the devil in Hollywood. Some of those became awards after waiting for 20, 30 years and a few only became "honory awards". Looking back at the movies or shows who won awards, I would rewatch only a handful, the rest is cheesy, pathetic and overrated. In Korea the formula is similar, joining the hype wave, giving the award first to the ones that are in favor of chaebols (or corporations), be it Disney or SM Entertainment. It explains best why so many average actors win awards, particularly idols. Who decides what's good and what's not as good? When I was a kid, I was so stupid and thought that these people must be right if they decide so. Thankfully I learned very early on how the mechanisms in society, politics and economy work and are related to each other.
you guys are rlly not ready for kdramas fr. just bc people don't like a drama doesn't mean they are antis. I have…
It's the contrary: dramas with idols, many of them indeed average actors, are overrated on mdl all over the place, like being organized by the ARMY, while some really great shows are downgraded bc it includes real talents instead of idols. Particularly many of the great middle-aged supporting actors are criminally underrated and unmentioned by these teenagers on mdl though they often save the shows. If you ask a child to choose between some average idol actors and a real talent like Namgoong Min they would without thinking screaming out the name of their idol like freaks. That's mdl. This site should be -as the name says- all about dramas, the art of cinema, writing, acting (particularly method acting, which idol fans do not know a thing about), and so on. Instead it is just another PR platform for the big three pop talent agencies, who thanks to all the fans rose to scrupulous chaebols during the last two decades, leaving behind many victims , like Sulli.
I heard that there will be a season 2. Will there be one?
How? It's based on partially true events. If you want to sneak into the period shortly after the fascists left office, watch Reply 1988. If you want to watch another show staged during the military dictatorship I recommend Youth of May, which is much better than Snowdrop, particularly acting-wise.
