Dramas like this one have low ratings, while the drama currently at the top on MDL (despite its subpar acting…
Truth! It's the fate of Kdrama being connected to the Kpop industry. That's why the "Korean wave" includes both, pop and drama. I despise the Kpop fan community bc they are responsible for the death of Sulli. Anyway, I prioritize acting performance, well-written scripts and great directing (that brings even the best out of average actors/actresses); in short: the art of cinema. In Mask Girl the cast did a great job, particularly Yeom Hye-ran who delivered her best performance so far (along with her role in The Glory). You can see the difference to her performance in The Uncanny Counter 2 and why bad directing makes you look like an average actor/actress.
WTF, with this shipping comments 🙄 So Mun and Ha Na..He literally treats her like an older sister...Editing…
I guess it's a ARMY-like fan community that wants the creepy child So-moon set up with a beautiful noona he doesn't even deserve in the next life; just like they push this garbage to a rating like Hollywood does it with his own crap on IMDB.
This will become the worst finale ever if an terribly acting clown like So-moon gets a happy ending by beating the amazing main villain couple. Not one single scene with this child is believable or to be taken seriously. It's all a big, dragged out joke. Season 3 is a no go
its the best show i've seen in awhile . After episode 2 i wasn't sure what to expect, i thought they told the…
Mi-mo was manipulated by Hye Ran who didn't get that her son was a pervert, rapist and murderer. I don't understand why Mo-mi got sentenced for this murder as well. I mean he slaughtered that other rapist. Self hatred is no reason to went nuts
No. I don't go to theaters anymore... In addition, it takes too long until movies are available for streaming. Most Korean movies, except for Netflix' own productions are not even available in my country (Germany), neither in theaters nor on streaming platforms. I can't even watch The Killing Vote, it's not available on Amazon Germany.
Not her 😭, I liked the s2 more because she wasn't here
The misogynist mdl is at it again. Stop with this bull. Korean actresses are the reason I've watched about 400 shows, not some cheap pop idols without charisma and acting talent. Together with the great main actor Esom was the reason season 1 was watchable. If you don't like it watch some King the Land-garbage
Well...I watched this drama because heard it was sad and I love sad dramas that will make me cry ( eg scarlet…
I also found the portrayal of the autistic boy poorly performed, unauthentic and loaden with clichees, the Korean version of Dustin Hoffman so to say. Many autistic people hate this kind of the portrayal. It wasn't sad, it was embarrassing. The stories of the victims in Taxi Driver are sad. Another overrated piece, overhyped like a cheap Academy Award winner. I tried to rewatch this show but after seeing the terrible young actor again, I stopped watching, just like I did three decades ago with Rain Man. 5/10
You know, after watching so many Kdramas one thing that stands out to me is that Korean culture is structured…
The only difference to the West (I'm from Germany) concerning power trips is the sonetimes physical abuse, but, oh boy, in the West you don't stand a chance if you come from a poor background, or if you experienced some misfortunes, or if you don't look "modern" enough... They even check where you live, in which district, or where you coming from, what your relatives did and do... They either abuse you verbally or talk behind your back. In most cases they ignore you, not even looking at your ass, they just treat you like shit if you do not match their brainwashed worldview, whether it's the powerful or the citizens. Don't tell me something about the West. I went through all of that, and it gets worse if you compare it with the 1980s.
Anyway, I prioritize acting performance, well-written scripts and great directing (that brings even the best out of average actors/actresses); in short: the art of cinema.
