I'm a sucker for certain cliches as well (I especially love the enemies-to-lovers trope)! I'll definitely have to start watching it when I catch up on my other series.

LBC was one that I had been on my list for awhile too (mainly because of my high expectations), so it took me forever to actually start it lolol It's one of those perfect series to lighten the mood; I was watching/reading too many sad or super dramatic stories, and I needed some reprieve from that.

Is it?? I've been a little worried to start it because of how high my expectations are lolol

BTW I'm on episode 8 of Love by Chance and it is so sweet and heartwarming!

Of course!!! And I'm always open to recommendations of great dramas

At least if you do that the hype around most of them will be gone, so you'll only get to see everyone's real thoughts and whether or not that drama is actually good.
I've had my fair share of watching or reading something purely because of the hype, and it ends up being overrated lol

It really is, everywhere I look there's a new BL series coming out that I've never even heard of lolol

I love Together With Me!!! It was one of my favorite series that I watched last year!

I'm actually a little behind on the new BL series lolol I've only seen a couple 2019 releases so far. But out of the ones I have seen, I really enjoyed He's Coming To Me. It's a supernatural story where the main guy is a ghost and his love interest is a human that can see ghosts. I thought it was pretty interesting, and it had some really cute moments.

As for 2019 series that I'm most looking forward to seeing, there's Theory of Love, 2 Moons 2: The Series, Dark Blue Kiss and The Untamed (which is based off of my favorite Chinese novel, but has very light BL that is mostly subtext).

I'm super pumped for the movie, I've been anticipating it all year! It'll be so nice to finally have a proper conclusion to that story.

It really has been a big year for BL, I feel like there's a new one every month lolol Have there been any 2019 series (other than Trapped) that you've loved?

Yesss, it was SO GOOD!!! Probably my favorite HIStory so far! I just adored the romance and the plot was actually really engaging, but that ending killed me! I hope that they do a special or something, because I need some closure lol

I'm also pretty excited for the newest HIStory series, which should be coming out in October!!

It's such a bad habit lolol! I can't tell you how many series I've put on my waiting list because I'm so worried I won't like it

I recently started HIStory3 Trapped and I'm dying from how good it is so far!!! The story is so interesting and exciting, and the couples are just too cute ^^

I try to stick it out as well, but I think that mostly has to do with my need to finish things lolol. I barely drop series (or books for that matter XD), I tend to just put them on hold. I have been getting a lot better about properly choosing stuff I'll actually enjoy, and quitting things that are just plain terrible.

I've had a bit of a mixed bag. Some of them were just so awful, and I don't even know why I bothered finishing them XD lolol

Yess, it is SO important for the actors to really sell their character, and all of their relationships. If you can't make the audience believe it, then no one will feel invested in anything or care at all about the characters.

IKR?! I was so upset when I finished it and realized that we'll never get to see those actors together again.

The actors who played Korn and Knock (from Together WIth Me and Bad Romance) have some really good chemistry as well. They're honestly what made those series good at all lolol

OOH! It sounds promising! I hope that they actually make it, and nothing happens for it to get cancelled

Really? I haven't heard anything about it, but if they do maybe they could include more of the story at least. And I doubt they'll be able to beat the chemistry the two leads had, they were just too good together

Those are SO good, I absolutely loved the HIStory series (Boundary Crossing is one of my favs). I really wish that there could have been a season 2 to Addicted, but I suppose I'll just have to read the novels to get more of the story.

Ossan's Love is really great, it has lots of heart and made me laugh the entire time. I also really love Love Sick, it was my first BL series, and will always hold a special place in my heart. And Sotus is a really good choice too.

As for movies, I personally really enjoyed the Takumi-kun films, and Seven Days 1 and 2.

I think I overall preferred the first season a bit more. It was interesting to see how Kido's and Kijima's relationship began, but nothing compares to the way I feel about Kuzumi and Kijima. They're the cuter and healthier relationship in my opinion.

I also have to mention how much I loved that post credits scene, so cuute!
