I personally really enjoyed this film. I was laughing pretty much throughout, and the musical aspect only added to the humor and fun. Plus the actors did an absolutely fantastic job portraying the characters. I think the only thing that kept my rating from being higher, was how the story felt a little bit messy in the second half (especially with the lack of any real resolution to Narumi and Hirotaka's "disagreement"). Definitely see myself rewatching this in the future.
What's your favorite BL that you've seen so far? ^^
I follow a lot of the contestants of Produce 101 S2 too! Especially Daniel, he was always my favorite ('What are you up to' is so catchy!!)
I got into Kpop through Big Bang and TVXQ; I remember being completely fascinated by how crazy the MV for 'Fantastic Baby' was, and how unique the choreography to 'Something' was (how often do you see two guys "playing music" with oversized chords held by back up dancers?).
As for favorites, I have quite a lot that I enjoy listening to music from, but my only real faves (other than BTS, who're my number ones) are Got7, NCT, TXT, Twice, Red Velvet, Blackpink, and Taemin.
I'm not all that familiar with Topp Dogg or Hotshot's music, other than Jelly. I do remember really liking Taehyun and Sungwoon on Produce 101 S2 though.

Tell me about it! My childhood was filled with watching Scooby-Doo films with my dad lol. I'm a little worried that the new Mulan won't be too good, especially since I didn't like the live action Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast -_- I read the To All the Boys book series a couple years ago, and I really liked the Netflix adaptation, I just hope that the sequel is good.
I didn't know that you liked Kpop!!! (although a lot of MDL users do lol) Who're your favorite groups, other than BTS and iKON of course?
That sounds really nice! I hope that your trip works out alright, I know how stressful life can be, and sometimes just a little break can make all the difference.

I'm also really excited for the new HIStory movie! It's still one of my favorite HIStory series, and I've been anticipating the sequel ever since I finished it. Other than that there's not really any dramas that I'm looking forward to this year. I'll probably have more of a list when more get announced though.
As for other things, the new Animal Crossing game is set to come out in March; the third novel in the Simon Snow series might be released this year (the date hasn't been officially set yet); the first 3D animated Scooby-Doo movie, Scoob, is coming out in the summer; BTS's comeback; and I'm going to go see a new anime movie, Weathering With You, in theaters in a couple weeks with my friend.
Do you have anything, drama or otherwise, that you're looking forward to?

It feels like this year has just flown by! It honestly baffles me that we're almost in a new decade. I don't really have any specific resolutions for this year, I tend to just forget that I had any I wanted to do as soon as January ends lolol. What about you?
What's your favorite BL that you've seen so far? ^^
I absolutely love reading! I started reading when I was younger, but was never really able to keep up with it. A few years ago though I got my first library card and have been reading consistently ever since. There's not really one specific genre I prefer, but I tend to read more fantasy and contemporary romance over anything else.
I do enjoy reading manga, my favorite series so far is Orange. As for anime, I used to watch a lot more of it than I do now, but after I started watching dramas, I haven't been as interested (there still is some series that I watch tho).
If you ever want some recommendations or anything to help you get back into reading, I'm your girl! I also have a goodreads account if you want to add me as a friend, the link to it is on my profile.

Especially when it comes to younger or more impressionable minds. People like that will think that those types of behaviors are acceptable or even desirable.
What's your favorite BL that you've seen so far? ^^
I agree. Life isn't all rainbows and sunshine. Millions of people experience domestic abuse every year. So it makes it that much worse when these series show it in a desirable light. I don't think there's anything wrong with exploring darker topics like that, but all of these screenwriters and producers need to be more mindful about how they do it.
What's your favorite BL that you've seen so far? ^^
No kidding! The screenwriters go absolutely bonkers trying to make a drama "more interesting" by making everyone in it insane. I still remember how baffled I was when I was watching Bad Romance and one of the main female characters drugged a guy and tried to rape him! Like who actually does that?! And in that same drama a gay guy was so obsessed with the ML that he was actually trying to murder people who "posed a threat"!!! That whole show was like a fever dream.

All the Kiss series have been on my list forever, especially after I heard about the spin-off/sequel drama that's currently airing. But every time I try to watch the first series I get soooo bored by all the uninteresting and annoying straight couples, so I definitely feel your pain there. In fact, the same thing happened to me when I was watching Puppy Honey 2 lolol
If you really aren't enjoying that part of the show, I personally think it isn't really worth forcing yourself to watch a bunch of crap that you don't like. So just go for it, and watch a compilation Pete and Kao! ^^

I have such a difficult time letting go of things I've already started too, even if I absolutely hate it. I've been getting a little better about it recently, but it is always so hard for me to do, and even when I do finally say goodbye to something, I still think in the back of my mind "Maybe I'll try that again in the future, I might like it more then" lololol
What's your favorite BL that you've seen so far? ^^
IKR?? I'm currently watching this drama that only has 14 episodes, and I can't really be bothered to complete it; even the idea of watching more of it rn makes me want to groan. Meanwhile, I'm just rewatching old episodes of The Office on Netflix... I think I have a problem lololol
What's your favorite BL that you've seen so far? ^^
I have problems committing to a movie that's more than two hours long sometimes, so I definitely feel you lolol
Goblin is on Viki fully subbed in English (and a few other languages too). But I usually use KissAsian to watch my dramas, they have such a huge selection, and it's very easy to use ^^

I've been trying to get back into watching more K-dramas too! Although my reasoning for putting them on the back burner is a bit different. I watched one too many series that had stories that went on far too long (to the point that it felt like the plot was just going in circles), and it would ruin the whole drama for me.
I do have a couple recommendations for you though. There's Goblin, which is kind of fantastical, but has a sad but beautiful love story. Ms. Perfect, which has a thriller/mystery vibe to it. And even though I haven't finished it yet (it has 63 episodes!), there's Life Is Beautiful (2010), which is about a huge family who all face different issues (there's even some gay characters who go through A LOT of emotional turmoil). Hopefully this was helpful in some way lol

Me too!! Some of my favorite novels/dramas/movies are just the most devastating stories. But I always have to balance it out with something that'll warm my heart. I think I "enjoy" the sad stories so much purely because of how emotional they make me, and that's something that doesn't usually happen when it's a super fluffy story.
I like your username btw, I'm a fellow Army too 💜
