park jinyoung was the plot. and he served hot. also father peter was so sexy. especially the way he talks. first 3 episodes made me wanna skip this season. also really hated those soldiers at the start but felt bad as one by one started dying in last episodes.
finally rewatching this after 3 years. it was so so good omg. definately it had many coincidences to happen but I am gonna go with flow. but I must say there was too much crying scenes which was hard for the present me to digest. hoping moon chae won gets more lead roles like this show. and also my fav character moo jin. lee joongi serving hot. was a bit disappointed watching him in arthdal chronicles. yeah I am not into long hair men. and it's my opinion don't jump over me 😂

yeah idk why I tortured myself and re-watched this. what a beautiful but painful journey it was. my eyes have swollen already idk how it would be tomorrow morning. there's no bad song in this show. the ost would be forever golden. especially a song hit my heart which i didn't noticed back in 2019 when i first watched this show. the song is wind by jung seung hwan. ohh what a painful music & lyrics it has. I am gonna remember this song for a while now. as I was with the song " I'll leave you " by lee sun hee ( red sleeve cuff OST ). I can wait years for moon lovers 2nd season. yearning for the past. fleeting life 😭
rewatching this after 4 years...and god I am so disgusted by hae soo & wang wook lovestory. just want their lovestory to end quickly 😭 one thing I don't understand here is how can see future things when only knows the stories from historical books. I am episode 9 & fuck it's hella stupid. the astronomer acting like he knows it all & hae soo getting scared, hiding & having flashback scenes how 10th prince is gonna die plus wang so's evil smile. don't get me started with the step sister liking her step brother 😮💨
tbh the reunion of tanya & eunseom was not upto my expectation. ofcourse ljk & ssk are great actors but you know after watching the first season...all the characters were still vivid in my mind. the level emotions attached with them is much more. I was expecting myself to be a bit emotional and cry at their reunion but it felt like I was watching different characters not them...of course the leads changed & i can't even imagine how much more impactful this show would have been if old actor actress were present. it's so sad that only some chose to complete this show...and i am very thankful to them. not only the main leads...but also the side characters. ipsaeng, chaeun, nunbyeol, jeonbal, badoru, gilseon, tachugan, rottip etc. i still missed the old actors. but after few episodes...I got used to new ones. can't wait for the 3rd season...to watch neanthals again. but it's sad that they would be fighting against eunseom.
i want to watch more about different tribes & their powers. more about momo & ikonomahis. hopefully nunbyeol would be having child with that neanthals and they would fight with eunseom & against ikonomahis
small plot hole in ep 15. when rounding up the Asa clan prisoners on the city street, Gitoha was seeing speaking…
i don't think that was a plot hole. as asa clan priests were tied up there...they must be thinking where asa ron was. so just to make up that fact, gitoha & gilson talked as if asa ron was alive somewhere.
this movie is a whole package. it has action, healing, chaos, romance, development and lot more. hope this to be a 8 episodes show. having adult like na yi soo can solve 30% of my problems in life<3
