myung joon is different from hye eun or academically successful people who display a complete lack of sympathy. he isn't sly about his conduct, and doesn't work a situation for his benefit. his past self gave himself up to past hye eun. he let her be adopted by a rich family. his present self gave himself up to hee ae and ro hee

myung jun gives ro hee agency, voice and respect. he doesn't put on a fake front. deep down, he's as great as he seems

face justice for what? did myung joon and hye eun "murder" ro hee's "parents?" i wouldn't mind that. the two rushed in to rescue a child trapped in an abusive household. if it weren't for them, the police wouldn't have learnt about the horrific medical experiments

the crime that ra hee, joo ran, mo ne, jin mo, do hyuk*, myung ji and chul woo committed earns them a place in the abyss. hwi so (matthew) has the right (and obligation) to judge the seven with an appropriate, severe punishment. he's the judge, jury and executioner. to claim that a severe punishment didn't or doesn't fit the crime is to underestimate the crime. the seven didn't compensate da mi and her adoptive parents for the effects of their defamatory statements. da mi and her adoptive parents "lost their lives." it's the seven's turn to lose theirs. what if they dox hwi so (matthew) and share his private information publicly? how will he bring them to justice then?

do hyuk helping and seducing mo ne was worse than the cgi. i almost dropped the drama. ra hee, joo ran, mo ne, jin mo, do hyuk, myung ji and chul woo shouldn't have escaped the island or survived. i would have buried their bodies, one atop the other

i'm not dropping this (yet). i trust that hwi so (matthew) will give the seven "a taste of the abyss*" (episode 5, 42:30)? wishing him the strength and perseverance to overcome the obstacles that might arise on his journey

*the abyss is a metaphorical reference to a place of confinement. it's the orifice of "hell" where "demons" dwell. the seven are "demons." hwi so (matthew) is the "god" of revenge/justice and technology. he has power over the seven "demons"
