I can't sympathise with the ways Prince Li used to avenge his misfortune. Prince Ding and Ye Ki punish the ones deserving that not anyone they deem as dangerous to their plan.

It's so sad how her trauma makes her hallucinate her masters when she is the one who utilises the tricks she learnt from them and saves herself and others. Master Zhu too is dead I guess.

She does remember it but it's her coping mechanism. We need to see Prince Ding realise she's hallucinating and the truth about the grandma since preview of ep 15 made it look like she's faking her illness

Script selection is A1 despite how I feel about his acting which is a hit or miss for me

I've only ever watched modern day c dramas that too very few around 6-7 of them. I tried to watch a historical one with Song Weilong when i became a fan of Go ahead but I never finished that so this is my first historical c drama and I'm loving it so so much. Such a great story, ofc I find it hard to understand chinese but it's still worth the pain and struggle. Can't wait for them to drop all 40 eps 🥲

I saw clips of Bailu's shows before and never liked her acting that much but my was i wrong! This is a really powerful acting by Bailu. Really looking forward to watching a lot more of her dramas

I think it was the fact that he knows Mundo will use her as his weakness and endanger her. And she keeps giving him warnings against Mundo so he knows their love is mutual but she still doesn't trust him completely to tell everything yet but he has bared himself open. He wants her to be by his side no matter if it's using him or loving him genuinely, it doesn't matter to him if she betrays him or strikes a deal to save herself just life Grand prince in the past, he will still look at the bigger picture and choose to love her.
That's the reason why he stays even when she slaps him, and finally his strength leaves his body after he realises his harsh words and rests on her shoulder as a renewed vow to stick by each other's side.
