So what I've been screaming since day 1 is indeed true queen mother set the palace on fire and blames ian so that she can reduce her own guilt and blames him for brainwashing his elder bro. I don't think she wanted her busband dead just the edict gone but he became the collateral damage maybe because her father made it impossible for him to evacuate. I think her father killed the king when he showed interest in having ian sit on the throne as his daughter was already engaged to the crown prince. I think that was the edict that he threw in front of the king in the trailer.

The queen's accident and the attack on Huiju is the father too i think. Also, i don't think the spy in Ian's palace is the one who poisoned her but i think she knows something is being planned is guilty that depsite being a spy Huiju treats her so well so she wants to confess.

Now we know why queen mother felt likign towards Ian as he was the one who stayed by her side when her own husband ignored her. I want to know why the cp acted the way he did, he looks like someone who was being fed substance to control him and looks like a coward which i abhor.

I love the happy relationship between the two of them too. She gave up her noble status, listened to the sharp remarks of her female elite friends but still chose Taeju for love and they care for each other really dearly. They're both a bit materialistic for sure but I don't mind it if you follow, "Live and Let Live" strategy which they seem to follow till now

Yup like the mastermind that she is. The face of Castle beauty will be Ms Do and Castle group will be with Taeju with Sis in law and Huiju running the show from bts.

Also, i agree the fact that she married Taeju for love and have up her noble status is also so beautiful. I love the little moments where both of them seem to care for each other dearly.

I think she hates the idea of the exclusivity of nobles and royalty to end by making the bloodline impure by making a commoner a royal wife. Plus, she thinks that it'll weakem the authority of the crown which will weaken the authority of her and her son, the king. I also think that she related to Ian so she was infatuated by him too but he was 2nd in line and her prode didn't allow her to accept that

I said this before and I'll say it again that i love the bro and sil. They were genuinely afraid that something is fishy behind the mechanic's death ofc we know Inpyeong caused it. He is the biggest victim of the cheating his dad committed as he lost his mom overnight but he doesn't blame his sister. He knows his dad cares for Huiju too deep down but he still doesn't feel jealous to the extent of wanting to eliminate her. Same goes for Huiju too she also doesn't want to eliminate him which we see in other chaebol storylines. I love that these two are just like any other siblings, real ones at that.

The ball dance scene was so beautiful. I love how the king trusts his uncle with no sliver of doubt, he is too kind for being used as a puppet king. Queen mother definetely noticed that Min likes Huiju she'll definitely use that to her leverage when they fall in love and refuse to divorce.
I hate Ian's dad but i think he was influenced to think he was a threat by Inpyeong. However, i did find some light at the end of the tunnel from the perspective of Huiju's dad maybe he's guilty of causing his wife's death so directed his guilt on bestowing the son with all the riches while trying to shield Huiju from being in publice limelight so she doesnt have to be called illegitimate to her face always. He definitely knows about the car failure. I want to see the sister in law enter palace as someone Huiju can lean on.
