Thanks guys.....I think I’ll skip ep 10 :D Honestly, I liked that history series always had happy endings....lgbtq stories don’t have to end sadly.....it challenged that norm.....alas we can’t say the same for this one. But I’ll still give this one a go Cos I’ve been waiting to watch this for a long time !

Ok....I've been waiting for this show to end so that I can binge watch it. Now that I'm reading the comments...so many of you are unhappy. Someone please tell me if this has a happy or a sad ending? I need to know this so that I can decide what to do ! This is so nerve wrecking !

What’s epic about his filmography is that all the shows/movies have pretty good ratings.....which says a lot about his sharp eye for good scripts.

I haven't started watching this one....have added it in my plan to watch list....but if I ever finish watching it, I'll treat myself real good....that'll be one hell of an accomplishment......123 episodes geez !

Hahahah I can't get over the description...that's something. This is in my plan to watch list just to see if the story is as funny and insane as the description :)

Give this man more lead roles.....he’s amazing.....I’m sure many people would love to see him leading a big series.

After starting, dropping, restarting and re-dropping atleast 5 times......I just finished it. It becomes much much better in the later episodes. Though I still feel the female lead is cuckoo. But omg the male lead is everything what dreams are made of.....he made me come back to this show again and again ! All in all....nice show.

P.S- Someone should’ve fired her stylist after the first episode. That person was high on something when shopping for her wardrobe !

I know right. This 8.8 is baffling me. Because ofthese ratings I decided to give it a look....but man was I disappointed.

Also.....big turn off for me was that I could sense way way way way more chemistry between IU and the General. Their story line was deep, passionate and bittersweet. IU and Yeo Jin Goo's chemistry couldn't salvage the main romance of the show. It wasn't that they acted bad...rather they were great....it was the writing which led them down. I wouldn't have been bummed if IU and the general reconciled in the end leaving Yeo Jin Goo alone.....and that's not the correct feeling to have after watching a long ass show which constantly spoke of the "forbidden/doomed romance" of the leads.

There are so many better ones in the same genre! They tried to pull a Goblin....but in the process to make the story unique....they complicated it and lost focus. IU was great...even the ML was fine......so were the rest of the cast....but fault lies with the writing for sure. Also....the soundtracks were mediocre at best. They were no where close to as good as Goblin or Korean Odyssey's. All in all.....its a generous 7.5 for me. Special shout out to the visual effects and styling team....they did an awesome job.

This is hands down one of the most overrated shows I’ve seen ! Beneath all that production value, visual effects and star cameos.....it was very flawed. The story was ambitious and seemed promising.....but oh my god what a mess it was ! After a point I was just so freaking tired with constant melancholy and sad theme.....there was no redemption from that......I think the actors did a good job but this could’ve been much much better.

Okay....only cos of you aznbabii94 I'll give this show a chance....can't wait for it to get better. Stupid high ratings.....coercing me to watch it LOL. Though the whole gaming story line is pretty cool.....the male lead has a lot of personality/visuals :D

I’m on the third episode and the female lead is batshit crazy stalker ! It’s so hard for me to continue watching this....I’m cringing real bad. Someone please tell me she will redeem herself in later episodes or I’m done with this show !

I seriously underestimated the tag “fast pace romance” ????

Did I read right ? One of the tag is rape? So the Male lead rapes the female ? Wait what ?

Just came to see if they updated the poster....and yes they did ! More info about the story and cast now.....adding more to my excitement.

THis could have been s good by but because of the slow to death pace and crappy screenplay ruined it for me.

I was enjoying this movie and then the end happened.....should’ve read comments before I started watching it. It could’ve been one of fav movies....alas the ending ruined. No matter how much I appreciate realism in movies....motion pictures are not always about depicting the reality. They are also our gateway to something extraordinary....something bigger and beautiful than our simple lives. They are our form of escapism. That’s why I avoid sad endings. Anyway....it was well made that’s for sure.

Does this have any romance in it ?
