She def comes around 😄 She's burdened with a lot of past life anguish and present life incapabilities....but despite all odds she loved him unlike anyone. Ofc, Si Feng had to suffer a lot poor thing. But glad that they have a happy ending 😊

Really hope she makes a comeback. She's a great actress 💖

Watching this for the second time after many years. I had forgotten how frustrating yet insanely satisfying this show was. the romance, angst and chemistry is off the charts. I still remember, the year it was released it had everyone in a chokehold. definitely one of the Cdrama wuxia classic. The leads were absolutely phenomenal.

She has to be one of the worst fl I have ever seen in so many years of watching Asian dramas. And I cannot stress this enough.They had a great chemistry, sure. But the way she handled everything, her gaslighting, her self righteousness, her lying, her manipulation, her disregard for the other person's agency, her toxic overbearing methods etc was expected to be excused by the viewers, all in the name of trying to save her kid. Like sure I get you, you have a life to save. You're desperate. But how abt telling the ml the truth so that you get the job done QUICKER. Why not being logical and doing something sensible. But then again you won't get a plot out of that. She thinks she's straightforward but she's the least straightforward character. She def raised my blood pressure. On the contrary the guy was constantly bashed for being a brute (which he was to some extent) but in reality he was far more earnest & honest. Watch it if you can keep your temper in check and the eye candy scenes are good enough to keep you distracted from the insanity.
