I feel like whenever the chemistry isnβt purely sexual people feel this way. their feelings are more innocent…
Exactly π― People in the comment section swooning over second ml like omg. Are you kidding me? Finished this show last night and the guy was absolutely mental. The ml and fl were miles miles superior as a couple. That's not even a question.
Why is everyone saying that the main leads don't have chemistry? They clicked from the get go. There's incredible understanding and trust between them. They are each other's strong confidants. They can literally fight the world for each other. Their care for each other knows no bound. Ml's love for her is soooooo evident. Yes there is a pseudo sibling arc but to make sure that the audience doesn't feel icky they tell the truth to the audience and the ml figures it out in the very beginning of the series. I'm on ep 18 and I can't get enough of them. Can't wait for the fl to know the truth so that their romance begins.
Why to watch?Strong female characters, soft masculinity done well, good production, fast paced, great second couple. Why not to watch? No chemistry between leads, lackluster romance, can get draggy, forgetful music, nothing unique. I like Shin Min Ah. Quite a lot. I also like Kim Young Dae. But together, nope. When this cast was announced I did feel it won't work and I wasn't wrong. They didn't have any chemistry whatsoever. The second couple was far more engaging. I think this it's a one time watch. I don't hate it. But it's definitely underwhelming. I do appreciate how the writers presented a refreshing take on gender norms and soft masculinity. Need more of this. A generous 8.
I thought I'll watch this some time. Came back to this page and holy sh!t π³ 6.7!? How bad did they drop the ball ? I'm forced to reconsider this one π
