Person Jung Yoo Min
She has been doing shows for so long and i. Perfect Marriage Revenge she proved that she can carry a show on her shoulders. She was excellent. I really hope she gets more roles as a female lead ✨

This helped. I wanted to start watching this but the ratings made me second guess as it's low for a cdrama. Thanks. Will watch it 😊 Hope I like it.

Rewatching a couple of episodes- it's just so nice seeing the Empress and Consort on good terms. Even with jealousy,…
Absolutely agree πŸ’―

I like season 2 more than season 1 because it’s more hilarious and both leads are starting to fall in love to…

On Love Like the Galaxy: Part 2 Feb 8, 2025
After my second watch I've concluded that Ling Buyi's love was stronger in intensity. But Shaoshang's love was stronger in its endurance. He loved her fiercely, from the beginning to the end. She loved him deeply, even when she tried not to. And that's why they could only belong to each other. This is the kind of couple that will forever be seared in your pop culture consciousness. A benchmark for so many reasons.

Saw a lot of fl bashing in the comment section so thought I try and present a different perspective. Usually, I am not a fan of overly naive and floof brained fls. But in LBFAD this plays an important role in plot narration. She is someone who is not conventionally "smart", prioritized emotions when making decisions, gave generous amount of love & understanding to any & all creatures, was unquestionably kind almost to a fault and hoped for nothing but harmony. Naive? Sure. But this sentimentality of hers helps in molding Dongfang Qing Cing into the ml the viewers wished to witness. And, boy did she succeed. Most importantly, she evolved as well in this process. Her interactions with him made her worldview more multidimensional. This show is about how these two ends of a spectrum find balance, love & acceptance in their journey of fighting with fate. Also, the reason why her naivety did not bother me is because the writing of this show is impeccable. Her motivations, her decisions, her thoughts, her confusions, her dilemmas, her heart is portrayed to the T. And of course, they did the same with Dongfang Qing Cing which is probably why they are probably one of the most satisfying couples to watch. Their weaknesses and strengths are immaculately explained while carving a path to their happily ever after by the makers throughout this series. I am watching this for the 3rd time and it has left me with the same kind of appreciation I felt while watching for the first time. Definitely the best of the genre.

I think its because they didn't create better characterisations for the leads...like they're too good and no one's…
I totally agree πŸ’―

Will I start watching this drama that I've had mixed views about only because I need me some Li Yun Rui in main leads roles after watching Blossom!? Yes. Yes I will. I'm not gonna start this with towering expectations. Will keep them low and simply enjoy his screen presence 😊

I'm on ep 11. And I plan to put this on hold. Why? Cos this is as innovative, as interesting, as engaging a drama....as a slice of bread soaked in water. Absolute yawn fest. They tried to MBTI-ise the script but its... just...so....blah. Bcos they have dramatised personality traits, in this case an empath.....it almost seems like a parody. The ml is adorable...but that's about it. The fl is charming....but that's that. Their characters are stagnant because the plot is so boring. And their romance is lackluster. Yes, their endearing moments are sweet (like any kdrama) and their skinship is hot (like any kdrama) but chemistry is more than that. I feel the writing let them down. I'll pick this up again after a few days. A one time watch....after you've watched something heavy....like a palette cleanser. But nothing memorable.

Soooo....the award show moment between Esther and Yuxi has gone super viral and all over my feed. Found these two very sweet. And now I'm contemplating to give this one a shot πŸ€” So a quick question....does this have a happy ending? Will skip it if it has a sad ending.

nope not naive, just your regular reminder that filial piety was almost law in ancient China. So "he couldn't…
As much as I agree with you, this show is also unique as the ml eventually takes a strong stance against him in the latter eps. I don't know how much you've seen so don't want to spoil. But one of the best things about this drama is that everyone got what they deserved and the main characters did not forgive ppl who didn't deserve forgiveness.... unlike many other shows.
