The diary is really cute. The first half it is about Jinn pinning-his insults, his softness, all those hidden feelings spilled across the pages. And now the second half will be about Jerome's love for him. And the cutest part is Jerome covering the plain black cover with those bright, colorful fabric cutouts, all because Jinn once mentioned the black cover might be bad luck. It's such a small subtle thing, but it says everything.

Van going to the columbarium to see his parents really got to me. It added such a quiet, powerful layer to his character. Everything he's been doing hits even harder. He is trying so hard to find a place of security for himself, but every single time he just does not feel it

And with Farm... he's terrified. Taking that step means gambling the one person who consistently shows up for him, the one person who makes him feel seen, grounded, wanted. If it doesn’t work out, he's not just losing a relationship, he's losing the only place that has ever felt like home to him.

I feel the same way. The pacing is perfect. They don't jump from being at each other's throats for as long as they can remember to suddenly being overly sweet. For Jerome, those visions of the future made him more grounded, and he carries all that extra softness from remembering what he and Jinn become. But for Jinn, this is the very beginning, he's only just learning how to be with Jerome.

They balance those two perspectives so perfectly. It feels natural and so emotionally satisfying. And you are right may be that is why we are so attached. They let us know these characters enough to understand them, so when the messy or painful moments eventually hit, it's going to land so much harder. But honestly, that's what makes series like this unforgettable

I don't know how much of it is true. But it's vision from a timeline where Jerome has lived 17 years without Jinn. I am also not sure if he died young age or 10 years later. (Haven't read the novel because I did not want to spoil the whole story for myself.)

The scene where Jinn gives Jerome that purse is peak adorableness. The way he immediately slips into that soft, playful, borderline flirty cuteness and then he calls Jinn cute, which, honestly, is just stating a universal truth. Jinn is seriously so cute. In fact, they both are.

Yes, you could say it's the future. It's visions from a timeline where Jerome already lost Jinn. (at least according to the novel readers)

I suspect the same but I do get why Jerome is not telling Jinn. I wouldn't either unless I am sure the other person is okay.

I am absolutely loving the pacing of the story. I love how they're slowly being used to being boyfriends, more like being directly sweet. Like, they didn't just suddenly become completely comfortable with each other after being at each other's throats for as long as they could remember. That gradual build makes everything so much more believable and sweet.

And damn, the secret room scene, hands down my favorite part of the whole episode. That was so adorable and soft; my heart could not handle it. And J keeping Jinn's diary: that's everything. All of Jinn's feelings and ramblings, safely tucked away, and J holding onto it like it's the most precious thing in the world. Also, J is so scared of losing Jinn. He's constantly being tormented by the dreams and visions, but all he cares about is keeping Jinn safe. He is so in love.

And Van and Farm.... I love them just as much as I love J and Jinn. Their moments are so precious. And that precap? Van better NOT back off after asking Farm to be his boyfriend. If that turns out to be a joke, I might actually cry. I am way too invested to handle that kind of heartbreak.

"Is there any way you could be mine only?" Thee confessing to Peach in the most direct way and Peach interpreting it through the filter of friendship. And honestly, I can't blame Peach- Thee throws out dramatic, over-the-top soap opera lines all the time. But the thing is... Thee always means every single word.

Yessss, now the hours countdown.

And it's D-Day finally 🫳

I was shocked by the news. This was one of my most anticipated series. The cast was absolutely stellar. Still, I think it's ultimately a good decision rather than forcing it to continue. What saddens me is the lack of proper research before committing to the adaptation in the first place. I just hope all three pairs get new projects as leads- they truly deserve it. I would seriously be flipping if they don't.

That's actually the sweetest thing I have heard today. I am so glad my rambling reactions makes you smile. I am definitely not stopping anytime soon- this show gives me way too much to scream and go on and on about. Talking about it on mdl makes the wait so much more bearable and fun.

Right? That second line hit completely differently. It wasn't just an explanation anymore. And Jinn... god. The way he just goes still, like his whole world shifts in one breath. I can't wait to see the next episode. Their boyfriend era is absolutely going to destroy me in the best way possible.

Jinn: So what happens to you and me ten years from now? Tell me already.
J doesn't look away. There's something settled in his eyes, something softer than certainty, deeper than hope.
J: We're boyfriends.
Jinn blinks, stunned.
Jinn: Huh?
J reaches out, grabs Jinn's arm, and tugs him forward until their chests press together. Jinn freezes.
J: We hug.
J slightly pulls back just enough to look at Jinn. And then, without hesitation, J leans in and kisses him. (Like cherry on top of cake, Turns out it's you plays in the background, too perfectly timed)
J: We kiss. You and I love each other.
Jinn is utterly surprised.
Jinn: Ae J..
J: We do love each other.

I've been replaying this particular scene every chance I get during my breaks. Like damn. It's so well done it actually knocks the air out of me every single time. J's still shaken from his breakdown, still carrying all that fear about the visions, but in this moment he's also strangely steady in what he feels for Jinn. And Jinn's shock, the way he completely freezes when J pulls him in- it makes the whole scene feel like everything they’ve been avoiding is finally spilling out.

This looked so good and the title too "Wish upon a star"
