It was fabulous. I loved it. I think those who disliked it either didn't understand the subtleties or couldn't just relax & enjoy it.

Less fluffy than expected & FL acting also good - there is growth in her character which is very subtly depicted.

Silly and amusing romcom with a mystery underneath.

I have just started watching, on ep. 3, but the subtitles are extremely poor & there are gaps in sound & subtitles at critical plot discussions. Also drags out the plot far too much. Such a pity, as it promised to be interesting, but I can't watch 50 episodes in this way.

Ai Li Yi is such a ham actress as Qu Ni in both seasons. Caricature of a nasty old woman. Quite a lot of ageism & sexism in this portrayal.

Scary how people weigh in at length without doing a bit of research. I can recommend Rudolf Sapolsky's "Biology and psychology of depression". Free on Youtube.

The subtitles are quite lacking, just enough to get the gist of the story. But it was a fun and interesting series anyway (I watched as a 2 part movie on Mango TV's Youtube channel where the episodes were all collated.
