I have just started watching, on ep. 3, but the subtitles are extremely poor & there are gaps in sound & subtitles at critical plot discussions. Also drags out the plot far too much. Such a pity, as it promised to be interesting, but I can't watch 50 episodes in this way.
Scary how people weigh in at length without doing a bit of research. I can recommend Rudolf Sapolsky's "Biology and psychology of depression". Free on Youtube.
The subtitles are quite lacking, just enough to get the gist of the story. But it was a fun and interesting series anyway (I watched as a 2 part movie on Mango TV's Youtube channel where the episodes were all collated.
On ep 16, watching at 1.5 speed, and it's not bad or boring. Whacky, entertaining, lots of red herrings and sub-plots, perfect casting with actors obviously relishing their roles - so what if it is tongue in cheek? Not looking forward to the ending, but it is what it is. Just one thing - has anyone noticed the messianic subtext of Samjang as saviour?
