I already watched it on Kuaishou app. The last episode came out yesterday. A subbed version would probably come out soon on YouTube now that all the episodes are out.

Does anyone know where to watch 宴遇八零. ML: Xiang Shuai, Fl:Lin JunYi. It came out on 6 February. I can’t find it anywhere except a couple episodes on TikTok.

In the teaser for episode 21 you can see he did send a message but she didn’t receive it due to poor service. She then realises after the message comes through and forgives him.

I completely agree with ye rong comment. Why is no one defending her and saying that she’s had a difficult life and in order to not be looked down upon she tries to look down / look better than nie xiguang. I don’t like ye rong or zhuang xu but why do people act like she is irredeemable and he is pitiful. Their insecurities are no reason to make someone else feel worse about themselves. Plus it turns out that zhuang xu thought she went overseas to study cause of their helper not ye rong just telling everybody whatever.

What I don’t like is that he humiliating her, didn’t trust her and he literally also agreed when xiguang said you can’t stand me and think I’m spoiled rotten. After all this he still thinks she bound to continue to like him because she once said she will wait for him. Like wake the f up.

Netflix only has the vip episodes not svip or express. Svip is not available internationally as far as I’m aware. It’s an another tier of subscription with more benefits. I’m guessing the reason he says that she is his future boss is because she is the only heir to her dad and that means she will definitely hold 49% of this company. Where as in his family the heir hasn’t been decided as there is also his uncle and his son. I don’t think he ever intended to inherit as he wanted to be a doctor.

Also I don’t know if I’m right so if the novel readers know please tell me but I’m guessing the person who asked about him wasn’t her because she says stuff like she messed up at the party and she was at her uncle’s house. My wild guess is that the person who asked about him was the daughter of the lady her dad apparently cheated on her mum with.

I could be wrong though just a wild theory. Maybe she’ll remember him by the end of the show who knows.

Isn’t he abusing his power as her boss by making her work on site for a week despite it being a rotational/volunteer job. He did this only because she came out to see a glimpse of a guy who he thinks she has a thing with. Also I hate how he treats her because she “doesn’t remember him” like seriously. Bruh that was 1.5 years ago, you are not that important. It was one party. Like I get it that you got into an accident while trying to apparently meet her but that’s none of her business so like please.
I think this show has potential to become a sweet comfort show and they look really good in trailers for upcoming episodes. Sooo I’m gonna continue watching but this doesn’t sit right with me.

I don’t know if it’s just me but a lot of the scenes in episode 5 seem sped up. In particular Jin mai’s scenes. There was this one seen in episode 4 ,when she comes back to the dorm after getting caught downloading episodes, which I played in 0.75 speed and it looked completely normal in comparison to 1.0. It could just be me and I haven’t watched episode 6 or 7 yet to know if this continues.
Has anyone else noticed this?

I know when it happens in the novel but when I saw the bts/ leaked scenes, that scene happens in rundu at the tree with the red tassels which I think is called the marriage tree. They are wearing the same outfits as that scene in ep26 and at the same place which is why I’m worried it might be deleted. This scene should happen tomorrow hopefully as in the trailer for ep 30 they nearly kiss. Plus it makes no sense to delete this scene anyways as it’s important and a popular scene.

I’m waiting for the confession scene when xiao jue gives her his jade. However, I’m worried they deleted it cause according to the bts and script it should have happened in ep26😭. Fingers crossed they’ve kept it 🤞

I wish they showed more of their childhood/academy scenes because they really show how they’ve felt for each other all their life. Like how he yan always had a crush on xiao jue and xiao jue subconsciously chose to protect her . I also loved the parallels in the novel between their present and their past I am really enjoying the show but I feel like the presence of these scenes would show how deep their relationship/feelings really are. I also miss Lin shuanghe being their dumb classmate. He was so funny.
