I've actually already watched both Korean dramas, just that as you've mentioned, the clothing in dramas aren't necessarily accurate to the actual clothing from history, hence I don't consider other Korean dramas as trustable records. I'm actually very intrigued with East Asia's history and would love to visit as many of their museums I can, but unfortunately money is an issue.
Lol at all these drama about the costumes copying Chinese dynasties. Can someone point me the way to any records of how the clothes in Goguryeo look like? Like clothes dug up from archaeological sites or historical paintings. This should be enough to settle the debate once and for all.
