I want to visit Hengdian someday once I get more comfortable with China's payment and reservation apps. I only started travelling to mainland China (Beijing) last year, previously only went to Hong Kong and Macau and that was years back. Hengdian sounds complicated to travel to, with train transfers and all, but I'm definitely going to get there one day and see all the beautiful sets.
I've never seen this wedding ritual done before. It was usually the 3 bows.
I'm guessing the story is set in a fictional timeline similar to the Warring States Period. The wedding rituals look similar to those in dramas depicting that period.
Weibo Awards is practically like a birthday party for Sina where celebrities have to "give face" to Sina and attend, otherwise they may be given a few negative hot searches LOL. Sina bags the cash by selling event tickets, generating tons of traffic from various hot topics such as which actor has higher status than another actor because they walked the red carpet later or sat further in the front and middle etc etc.
with this logic, how can you know what Chinese clothes looked like in that time period? lol, they were influenced…
Oh really? I didn't know there's a rule saying we can only ask on original threads, isn't this a normal comment box where everyone's free to post? You put me on the same table as the "account well-known as a tool for Chinese superiority propaganda", if that isn't implying I'm taking the same stance of claiming costumes were copied then what is it? Dismissive and condescending? Is my reply to Ackery dismissive and condescending? No. Because he/she wasn't rude in the first place. If anything, it seems like that you just want to deviate my thread into topics unrelated to my original question. Go pick a fight elsewhere.

No, you didn't. I'm asking both sides to show evidence to prove their claims of copying and not copying so as to end the debate. When did I claim the costumes were copied? And ChatGPT won't end any debates unless people copy-paste the search results here. In debates, do you see debaters telling the observers to use ChatGPT? Anyway, I'm not the one being all prickly and rude first here.

I already specifically mentioned in my initial comment about clothes dug up from archaeological sites or historical paintings, but they recommended a drama. So I proceeded to tell them that's not historical records. But then they had to be rude and said I was complaining about wanting to see costume design with more variety, which is not true. That's why I told them they need to read better?
For Lee Ruri, that comment about opening cH&Tgpt is uncalled for. If she didn't say that I would thank her just like I did for Ackery.

Kindly point to me where is the insult? Because no matter how I see it, I see fiflydramalover being rude first saying my comment was a complaint. And yes, many of you didn't get it, and the reason I said that is because Lee Ruri said to open cH&Tgpt.
