I want to visit Hengdian someday once I get more comfortable with China's payment and reservation apps. I only started travelling to mainland China (Beijing) last year, previously only went to Hong Kong and Macau and that was years back. Hengdian sounds complicated to travel to, with train transfers and all, but I'm definitely going to get there one day and see all the beautiful sets.

No, you didn't. I'm asking both sides to show evidence to prove their claims of copying and not copying so as to end the debate. When did I claim the costumes were copied? I already specifically mentioned in my initial comment about clothes dug up from archaeological sites or historical paintings, but they recommended a drama. So I proceeded to tell them that's not historical records. But then they had to be rude and said I was complaining about wanting to see costume design with more variety, which is not true.
