I suppose I am the rare few that really liked S2 and S3 ... only because I prefer more action and monster action…
I liked it too, because I liked characters development. of course it could be better and the ending was so short I didn't get to absorb the "ah it's all good now" vibe, but I liked the ending after all. I understand the bad reviews on s2 , because it was all like a bridge to s3, I didn't even notice it ended π I wish to see more Song Kang tho, this is his best role for me. he is perfect as Hyun Su
I got through it so quickly I was surprised when I saw that Im at season 3 already π nothing much happened here , I would be pissed if I watched it after waiting more than a year, just to wait another year for continuation thank God I got to see last 2 seasons at one take β€οΈ
Did anyone also find the ending a bit... Empty and confusing? In fact, the third season has good moments but...…
I felt like they could show more of the 'after'. they gave us not more than 10 min with wrapping everyone's live at the end, but my heart wanted the happy ending at fullest , so I wanted to see more of that. I feel like it was a bit empty for such a great story
Maybe it was because they took too long to film the second and third seasons, but I feel like Song Kang's acting…
I felt it as a character development, because Hyun Su went through a lot , so he also changed and grew up. He is more mature and responsible in later seasons , but for me it worked well
after season 2 and 3 , the bond between the characters was much deeper later, but still not that obvious all the time. I didn't read the webtoon, but the story in further seasons is a masterpiece for me. characters development is one of the greatest elements in this drama. I will read the webtoon one day, because I'm sure I will miss these characters (although as you said - it will not be the same story )
thats one of the best comments I've seen.i completely agree. that's why I can't say I fully enjoyed the show. it brings to many painful aspects amd thoughts to just 'enjoy' it.
about second paragraph, I would say the time jump is needed to create more capable character and to explain how his plan started and how he organised every detail. he needed to know things normal person couldn't. I like how they wrote that point. about the assistant that had no memory it seemed pretty obvious - she was murdered by Tae-sub when he found out her plan in times from first scenes. she appeared as a ghost / reaper after her death which didn't happen in new future, so she had no right to remember.
