That was supposed to be nothing more than a comforting scene and the director and actors delivered it beautifully. Mark only wanted to comfort his grieving boyfriend using the scent of roses as he believes scents can make humans relax, which is true, and you can see Tong gradually relaxing and melting into Mark's arms which is what he needed the most at that moment. I don't think it was an appropriate time for Tong to get romantic with Mark when he just lost his childhood best friend who was also like an older brother to him.

ikr. Especially during the emotional scenes he looked fully shattered and pretty at the same time that I didn't know whether to continue crying or appreciate his beauty. Such a brilliant and beautiful actor he is!

But it still doesn't erase the fact that in the first episode he kidnapped(?) a reporter just because she accidentally damaged his watch and only god knows what happened to her. Most probably he would've sucked her blood. He also hypnotized Meena(lady) and tried to drink her blood. His most vicious act was using a mere child to get the Golden blood. I'd say he is the secondary villain. Also, as per Thara's rules, causing harm to humans can lead to severe repercussions. So I think only due to this fear Nakan might've looked like he regretted killing Tonkla.

Fr. Her audacity throughout the episode was something else😒But at times I couldn't help but simp over her,lol. She is such a beautiful and brilliant actor.
