I agree. Actually I did not like the ending when the wife took the husband back. She should have just left him with the mistress and gone back with her daughter in Canada.
I only watched the part of Zhizhi in this drama and I liked the acting of both couple. I liked that the wife did not go back to the ex husband after all the humiliations she received from him. No matter he tried to repent for all his mistakes, I don't think he deserves to have the nice family back. Zhizhi in the end was able to stand alone without a man to take care of her daughter.
I only finished 3rd episode and stopped. It’s too dragging. Nothing is happening to the couple except some flashbacks. Too many scenes of the fire fighting scenes.
One of my favorite cdramas. Love the same leads in Once we get married. I have recommended this to friends and they are happy.. Third drama with both leads would be nice but they might have a hard time getting different partners later on. This is a late post. I’ve watch the drama a long time ago and have watched it several times.
I only watched some episodes because I wanted to know what happened to Sheldon and wife but I got caught in the drama and watched almost all episodes except for a few. It is a nice drama with tragic ending. The bad people died in the end.
This drama was good until it became the story of her Assistant. It should just have ended after her revenge against the husband and mistress. Ending should be the wife alone but happy.

Male lead spent so much money with the first gf even paying for her apartment for one year and her vacation expenses but not spending money on female lead. 3. Sometimes I get so mad with both the leading actors male and female. Maybe it’s the fault of the writer. 4. Giving very spicy dumplings. Writer might think it’s funny but it’s a turn off.
This is a nice short drama because of the handsome male actor and the beautiful actress. There are some annoying scenes though like the 3x kidnapping of the female lead. She never protected herself even when it happened several times. If you want to just spend a few hours to watch , this is it.
